Alarm technician in Queens, NY
This was one of the greatest companies I've ever had the pleasure of working with and the training is great you can make as much or as little as you want to.
Collection Agent in Saddle Brook, NJ
When I first started safestreets it was good. Until they became greedy with the commission checks and switched the whole pay out tier process. Some Managers would be secretive and wait for you to do half a day then fire you.
Installation Consultant in United States
You use your own vehicle and drive up to 3 hours to a job not counting drive time between jobs then back home. You are expected to sell thousands of dollars in equipment to every customer to maintain an average. They call you a installer. But you are truly a sales rep who installs. If you do not have high numbers you'll never be considered for advancement even if you have other qualities that would be desirable for leadership roles. All they care about is making that huge upsell. If you are sales minded however you'll find a competitive and "enjoyable" workplace. You have to be "hungry" and always looking for your next big score, which you'll brag about on the social media or group texts in a veiled way to motivate others to beat your number. If you live in a location with peole living on welfare and not within an hour drive of millionaires or at least upper middle class then you have no chance of being above middle of the tier of techs. All the company competitions are geared toward techs that already have great numbers. Best advice I can give is make sure you live near a MAJOR metropolitan area or city that has people that obviously can afford stuff. And make sure you are offering $2000 dollar systems on every single job. They can't say no if you don't give them the opportunity to.
Data Entry Agent in Garner, NC
Not a good place to advance. The people were friendly enough, training was terrible. Pay was terrible, benefits were ok. I would never work for this company ever again.
I've been in this industry 15 years and every year gets worse. Jobs are minutes away from your house and they give you a job hour and a half away. Expect you to upsell extra equipment for a percentage (which sucks)Management will lie on you for no reason (another thing that sucks). If you run into a jam on a job well good luck calling for some help.
