CNA (Current Employee) – Baton Rouge, LA – August 2, 2017
The facility it self is ok for the most part. But the entire operation is under new management with poor leadership mainly due to a new DON that takes orders directly from a floor CNA that's only been working for the company a year or two. If you want a calm environment to where you can properly work without all the confusion or turmoil whether you are a nurse or aide I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. Professionalism and job stability is a must at any facility and you won't find it here.
Floor Nurse, LPN (Current Employee) – Baton Rouge, LA – June 12, 2017
I've had a pleasant working experience at Sage Rehab Hospital. The most satisfying aspect of working for this company has been that the work load is reasonable. The work atmosphere is also pleasant. I do enjoy coming to work in general.
Reasonable patient/work load (usually)
Salary is not competitive. Morale is generally low. Often short staffed.

This just isn't a place I would put one of my love ones at all. The staff work their butts off like SLAVES and never gets recognized for their work. The administration staff is there only for pay they dnt take anything as far as the staff working with only 2-3 techs on the floor into consideration. This place constantly works understaffed and the Nurse Tech support never gets recognized for anything unless they're watching the cameras. I will not recommend anyone to work at this facility.
LICENSE PRACTICAL NURSE (Current Employee) – Baton Rouge, LA – March 1, 2016
I enjoy working with my fellow co-workers. I did increase my skills in respiratory caring for trach and vent patients. However I don't feel job security because since I've started here All upper management has quit, floor nurses, techs and social workers. No organization!!
