If a candidate has all required skills/talents listed in a particular post but is lacking salesforce certification, is there opportunity to certify on the job or is the expectation to acquire the certifications prior to applying for any Salesforce positions?
Yes. I believe so.
How does the business development role work with the account executive? Is it remote? Is there growth?
Our Business Development Representatives partner with our Account Executives to uncover and qualify opportunities. At this time most of these positions are not remote but located in an office. The reason is because there's so much collaboration between the AE's and BDR's on a daily basis. As well, our BDR's learn so much from each other and the teams around them - they collaborate so much. I believe 1 BDR supports approx. 4 AE's depending on the area of the business they support. A BDR position is a great spot to learn the business, grow and develop internally. Salesforce is growing rapidly and there's a ton of career growth opportunities internally.
The work environment is fast-pace and has great articles and tools. The culture is welcoming, friendly, and fun.
What is it like working for Salesforce as a remote employee? This is coming from someone who has experience as a remote. Do you still feel connected, like you have a team?
Working remote is easy with Salesforce. Total feeling of being connected.
