The workplace culture is awesome nice to work there. People are friendly, cooperative and talented. I enjoyed working there. I like the office fixture and machines.

Your experience largely depends on the team you support. Culture is going downhill, changes with activist investors have caused all unique aspects of Salesforce (wfh, work life balance, ohana) to go away in favor of a more Amazon-like approach.

Stressful but productive

Lots of work to get done but job is fair and productive. High expectations and quotas set by management but compensation and environment is good. Not for everyone but can be rewarding

It’s all about the people

Good, smart, hardworking people who work at Salesforce. That was the most enjoyable and rewarding part of working at Salesforce. There’s a great deal of opportunities for advancement and lateral moves.

Overall, I did like my job and team at Salesforce. I was somewhat challenged and enjoyed the work we did. I also received great benefits.

What is the best part of working at the company?Benefits include time off, pay, and potential stock options. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Leadership and constant change. Leadership is not always very experienced and they are not transparent. The biggest issue, you never know if you will have a job or if your job, role, and or manager will change. There is always a reorg. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?I don't feel there is really a culture but the environment is hostile and all over the place. You never know who you can escalate to or if you can. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Up and down. Leadership does not provide much direction. But, if you are a driver, you will spend most of your time-fighting fires.

Great company to work for

Generous benefits. No negativity with working from home (teams are dispersed everywhere). Friendly work culture. But, been here too long - my pay isn't competitive anymore.

1 star out of 5.

What is the best part of working at the company? One of the worst contracts I've ever had. Very low pay and toxic environment. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? No support from higher ups with very high expectations. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?SalesForce has an amazing mission, but it's not reflected in daily interactions with coworkers and supervisors. What is a typical day like for you at the company?High stress with little to zero support.

Culture has shifted - it's not what it used to be

Culture has definitely shifted, they are trying to cut corners to keep their pockets thick. It used to be an amazing place to work, not anymore. They are hiring folks outside of CA to pay lower rates.

great place to work

Salesforce is truly an amazing place to work, boasting a remarkable company culture that sets it apart. From day one, I was welcomed into a supportive and inclusive environment that values innovation, collaboration, and personal growth. The dedication to employee well-being, professional development opportunities, and a strong sense of purpose make Salesforce a standout employer. The company's commitment to making a positive impact on the world not only inspires its workforce but also fosters a sense of fulfillment that is truly unparalleled.

Challenging and rewarding

Solid company. Great benefits. Challenging work as an program architect. Do be aware that the organizational structure changes frequently which can be disruptive and stressful.

Decent WLB but getting worse, Tech can be better

The tech is slowly evolving here vs other companies. Also the comp isn't bad but not top tier like Faang. WLB used to be the best but high performance culture has me worried.

Fun place, good culture

I've worked as a contractor for a couple years. It's a really great company working with, the culture is great, managers are supportive, always have opportunity to grow.

pretty fun

alesforce is a well-known customer relationship management (CRM) software company that offers a range of cloud-based solutions for sales, marketing, customer service, and more. Working at Salesforce can offer a variety of experiences depending on the role and department. Here are some aspects you might find in a typical Salesforce work environment:

Difficult Quotas / No Promotions

Same quota for every territory- so if you have a difficult territory due to IT budgets, current install or difficult AE teams- the quotas are impossible to reach every month. Almost impossible to get promoted like promised in the beginning.

Morale Compass Lost

Staff are worried about numbers and layoffs they backstab each other. Workload is unbearable. No strategic vision - struggling to land long term business. No career opportunities unless you're best buddies with someone up the chain (nothing new here.) Keep moving....

Great place to work

Compensation is very good , work place is beautiful with great views (salesforce tower)employee friendly 401k and other benefits are industry standard.

Good if mental health and fulfillment are not a top priority to you

It's usually pretty flexible and the benefits are great, but it seemed like there was little integrity and a lot of workplace politics. Quotas were often based on inflated numbers. If you ain't first, you're last.

I hated every minute of my last 5 years there. Year one thru four was fun and busy but the place has changed and not in a good way

What is the best part of working at the company?I got paid a bunch turned out it was too good to be trueWhat is the most stressful part about working at the company?First line managers come across as friendly but they are the most feckless people on the planetWhat is the work environment and culture like at the company?Political from top to bottom. Better swallow ESG with a smile on your face. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Meeting where people to can skate from one meeting to the next without having to do anything and rewarded. Those that wanted to resolve and problem solve with get beat
