My experience was very positive. I worked with a great team and had a great boss. Also, the pay was very good. If there was a negative, it would have to be the political culture in recent years.

My time with SMB was enjoyable. Very cohesive work team, and very accommodating with work/life balance. At times, there seemed to be a lack of direction on some projects, requiring "crunch-time" changes that could be avoided with better intra-team communication and planning. But all in all, a great place to work.

I enjoy working for Sallie Mae. The pay and PTO are good. The health insurance could be a bit better. I’ve had good advancement, but know others that have not.

Some co-workers are not nice. Most co-workers are good people. Management often does not support you. Seems that you need to work over-time in order to meet goals.
