Give the hrs the stores need to run sufficiently, to do what is expected of us . They cut hrs so people are working alone and hard to complete resets and to do our gitk when we can't leave the register to help the customers or watch for theft. The company looked as hrs being wasted hrs as us managers used these hrs to do catch up , iPad training, Athena training, new employees training, and to do our management jobs and as a manager that is going to lose over 2 weeks of vacation time because of not being able to take because of the hrs being cut and people being let go or people quitting.

Pay employees well with Flex hours to include hiring enough employees to have a successful store and your demands of #1 Customer Service , Clean store, Stocked shelving, Consistent product & Application training . Train the Trainer, Pay Mangers well and give them a place to be proud to say they work at.
Simple Really, Trained and Well paid Employee's will make your bottom line OR Break.Invest in your Employees #1 and expect high standards from each and everyone. The rest will come with Ease, but hiring and unorganized training, Long hours or to short of hours, over working Managers makes nothing but a poor bottom line, theft, 1/2 ran store.
Invest Invest Invest in qualified People , make well and expect high standards.
Your Welcome, it works !
Never hear of high turn over with Great Pay, Incentive Recognition, Employee of the Month or quarter etc. Happy Staff will not leave easily.
I can always tell the moment I walk in a business if it pays well.

Sally changes are consistently having so many negative statements from regulars. Being difficult in retrieving. On another point employees who have been working longer should have individual ratings than a new comet without the same legal of knowledge. Also so many times the new programs for our days workload are not functioning. I really like my job & wish they could figure this out without blaming us.

Increasing pay to $10 an hour was good...cutting hours to under 20 with no full time associates basically cut their paychecks. Also cutting total hours to run the store is inviting shoplifters and robbery. New mansgement hss padded their pockets and took all associates incentives away. Bad move Sally Beauty

Better pay, enough employee hours to actually run the store sufficiently, send backup when a store manager asks for it, STOP THREATENING JOBS when number are not in track (instead offer more incentive for employees to meet sales like commission), give a large variety/better selection of IOM's throughout the store -or- lower expectations on IOM's.

Stop demanding ridiculous goals which intentionally pit staff against each other. You can’t preach teamwork, but then threaten to get rid of an associate for not reaching thier individual targets. It isn’t fair.

Since the sales are expected of you, and you should sell a certain amount per sale. The management should come up with a way for you to get credit for the sale even if you did not ring it up, alot of the time you get busy on the floor helping another customer with questions and your "sale" gets charged by a co-worker. Mind you, if you are busy helping another you can not run to the register and stop your co-worker from charging to do it yourself, that is just unethical. Come up with a question the Customer service rep can ask the client such as "Hello, did you find everything ok today ? Great, did anyone in particular help you?" If they respond with a name we should charge them with that person's code. If they did not get any help then, anyone can charge at this point, this is important to lower the tension in the workplace, some workers do not even want to charge people that buy only one item it seems like, because that will affect your sale average . Some customers are set on only buying one item no matter how many sales pitches you throw at them. PLEASE HELP
