For over 40 years, Samaritan's Purse has done our utmost to follow Christ's command by going to the aid of the world's poor, sick, and suffering. We are an effective means of reaching hurting people in countries around the world with food, medicine, and other assistance in the Name of Jesus Christ.
We are one of the largest international non-government – more...organizations (NGO) in the world and over the past 40 years have provided disaster relief and assistance in over 100 countries. Children in over 130 countries are also experiencing God’s love through the power of a simple shoebox gift through Operation Christmas Child. With The Greatest Journey discipleship program we are instructing thousands of the next generation of believers on how to be devoted followers of Christ and to share their faith with others. Through World Medical Mission we are providing evangelical mission hospitals and clinics with the resources they need—equipment, supplies, and Christian physicians and biomedical technicians to treat their patients. The Children's Heart Project arranges life-saving operations for hundreds of children who live in countries where the required medical expertise and equipment are not available. Operation Heal Our Patriots gives wounded veterans and their spouses the opportunity for spiritual refreshment, physical renewal, and marriage enrichment.
Through the efforts of thousands of volunteers and over 800 staff we are able to provide the relief and assistance that our many programs provide to hurting people in need throughout the world, all in the Name of Jesus Christ. Our staff, each with unique experiences, gifts, talents and backgrounds, are called to support our mission while working at our ministry headquarters in North Carolina or in one of our many field offices throughout the US and around the world. This incredible team of dedicated servants has more than a job, as active participants in achieving the mission of Samaritan's Purse around the world, they each have a “Career with Impact”. – less
