Loved working here made a family instead of co-workers , Loved my patients and being exposed to many different ethnicities . Would have liked to be compensated better for my skills, very little room for advancement.

Okay place to work.

Management not held accountable for their mistakes and don’t help out when help is needed on the floor. Rules don’t really apply to everyone. Unfair treatment. Long waiting time for patients. Incompetent MAs not being held accountable for their mistakes especially when mistakes are made on the patient.

Pros

Diverse company

Cons

Management

Rewarding work, supportive team, management not engaged in clinic issues

I loved my time at SURHC! My collaborative physician and other nurse practitioners were supportive and encouraging. The patients are the real blessing, you learn about other cultures and are deeply involved in their lives and their families.

Fast pace environment/ no room for advancement

Raises are only .10 every year. New employees start at a higher pay rate than the employees who have been there for years. Management is horrible they treat and talk to you like a child.

Pros

Pto

Cons

Bad management, no room for advancement

Horrible place to work

The management picks and chooses their favorite people. The pay is definitely too low for the amount and type of work you are Expected to do there. The management is always forcing you to train people.

Pros

Hour lunches, flexible schedule

Cons

Always training people, understaff, overworked, not enough wages for the work

Love the company love the staff i would recomend people to apply and also go there for healthcare needs.

Super fun place to work at. The staff and doctors are very friendly and helpful. If there was ever any issues it could be resolved immediately. The atmosphere was great.

Poor management and treatment of staff

I never felt respected there. Always negative responses to my questions or problems. Management plays favorites. I did enjoy my doctors and NP I worked for although I felt they were disrespected as well. The staff is underpaid for the amount of work they do. Understaffed.

Pros

Learned a lot from my NP. She is wonderful. My MA was very thorough and intelligent

Cons

Poor management

Busy but appreciated

I only left due to needing to take care of ailing mother. I would return if it was a mutually good fit. If you desire challenge and want to make a difference in your work life, this is the place to do it.

Pros

Autonomy, structure, feel good for what you are doing.

Cons

So few I cannot recall

Hired for one dept. Then switched, then switched again. Never really knew where I'd be from one day to next. Favoritism played great deal w/Supervisor

Compensation high to make up for staff childish behaviours, mediocre management that only provides awards to favoritism dept.'s HR also played favoritism w/individual who couldn't make up mind to leave or stay. Unbelievable, Unprofessional

Horrible Management

Stay away from this organization! Poor management. Cliquish and vengeful. Executive leadership unable to make tough decisions. When their mismanagement begins to show they blame others. Company is in poor financial shape due to inaction and limited knowledge of Executive Leadership Team. Ruining an organization that was developed to help the poor.

Pros

People who work there are dedicated to the mission

Cons

Too many to list.

Of course all jobs reel you in and you're excited to start until management gets too comfortable and forgets they need you and need treat you accordingly. I'm not saying me personally, I'm referring to employees period. It takes a whole team to run an establishment, so regardless of your position, we're all people and should be treated as such.

Pros

patients, learning skills, 1 hour lunch

Cons

management, dusty stupid people

Proactive and constantly learning

We would schedule our patients and assist with inquiries about procedures done to be directed into the right nurse or provider. The training was excellent, not complex and very helpful for new comers. My favorite part of the position was to help the patients feel cared for and satisfied with the help we bring to them.

Favoritism lack of Communication and really bad management

They would get rid of Employees and that had a higher knowledge of daily operations and the Center and replace them with people whole lacked knowledge whom seemed lost and place blame on employees to cover themselves

Pros

none

Cons

Poor Management, Lack of Communication and no trainin

Family like setting

I enjoyed working there. It was like a mini world. Meeting people from around the world looking for a better life in our country. Serving those who needed it most. Learning about other cultures. Great diversity.

Pros

servicing people from around the world

Poor management=poor culture

Management is very poor. There is no communication with staff. Management sits on the 3rd floor and makes all the decisions without including the actual staff that does the work with the patients. Lack of transparency. Very reactionary instead of being proactive.

Pros

Excellent staff

Cons

Management, communication and culture

A day a Samuel U Rodgers

We current use Athena for our billing and it is a very complicated system. I come in and start with the denials that we have over 300.000 thousand of and work on getting them corrected and sent out before they become pass timely. The system ( Athena ) will only allow you to see encounters belled every 3 months. The culture is very family orated and we try very hard to take care of our patients. The hardest part of this job is making sure we get the encounters out on time and correct. The most enjoyable part is getting to know our patients. and working with my coworkers.
