Hotel Receiver (Former Employee) –  New York, NY 10036August 19, 2017
People are nice there. They are very welcoming and helpful especially when they know that you are new. They are fun to work with. The managers are pretty nice too.

Terrible place
Manager (Former Employee) –  New York, NYDecember 12, 2015
By far one of the worst places I have worked. You're set up to fail. Fire hazard - Health Department issues all over the hotel. Merry go round with management. No room for growth. No training procedures, terrible food.

Thriving, exciting work environment
Managing Director/Events Director (Former Employee) –  New York, NYJune 10, 2014
This was an opportunity of a life-time for me. I was at the Sanctuary Hotel since inception and had an integral role in getting to the hotel to where it is today. I would recommend working for this company/brand to anyone who has drive and ambition.

Best place to fail
Bellman (Former Employee) –  New York, NYSeptember 4, 2012
First all we had to wear our own suits, not a uniform. Plus we paid for our own dry cleaning. The owners and management tell employees "this is a open door job, we can fire you with out any notice or warning."
Cons
wear own suit as a bellman, no benefits, no job security, no union, no perks(discounts on rooms and food)
