Sappi is an extremely competitive company salary wise for the area, which is what makes it most attractive.

The work environment is favorable, albeit slanted toward millennials in perks. But weighted nicely towards management bonus.

The primary issue with Sappi is lack of unification. It's struggling to unify itself as a global company while all the units continue to try and operate as independently as possible.

Accountability is overused, due to lack of actual autonomy.

Worked there for 2 years people are nice and the management was good. The mill workers are union so you can't do much if you are on the management side of things.

The pay is fair and the people are friendly. The work can be stressful at times, but the exposure to various aspects of the supply chain is unmatched.

Great learning experience, phenomenal first job

•Maintained an up-to-date payroll record in TMS (a payroll tracking system) on a biweekly basis
•Ran, audited, and distributed monthly reports to HR at the mills and technology center
•Recorded changes in employee benefits deferral and loan status

Management was super helpful and available, but not too hands-on.
