IF and I say IF your manager will allow a transfer they tell you no transfers until after one year. They have history of telling employees that no transfers allowed. Many employees put in for transfers only to be told there was a freeze on transfers. All for efforts to make it appear that they didn't show a high employee turn over rate!!

The hospital is going to continue to grow. The main campus is so much better to work at than the Urgent cares.

Make your management accountable for poor RN retention. This is costing your hospital a fortune in nurse turn over !! Hold your nurses accountable for bullying other nurses. Retrain your charge nurses!! Quit dumping the bad patients on your contract nurses. Set up an acuity system for your patients to evenly divide the work load between nurses. Fire the management on your inpatient rehab unit !!!!

12 hour shifts, no breaks most of the time I have worked there. They did change that and if possible you will get your 30 minute break. But, usually none other.

Depends on the floor but cardiac step down was 4 or 5 to 1 day shift. And 6:1 night shift
