In order for corporate to address these concerns, they must begin by caring. When companies are buying every building in sight when do they make time to care. It's always about the bottom line. Look.good on paper so the reimbursements keep coming. I have never worked for a company where there was No HR. Always short staffed. They offer bonuses to current employees for referrals and a bonus to the newly hired after 6 months (if they last that long) but neither ekver receives a dime. Health benefits horrible. High deductibles or pay through the teeth and just enough paid time off to find a new job (10 days PTO combined for vacation, personal and sick). I was hired through a recruiter and corporate because there was such a high turnover of administrators. In a year, I worked under 3 administrators. Found the department a total mess because there was no consistency. Empty Promises all day long.. The good nurses don't stay because they know better. That leaves the patients at the mercy of poorly trained staff. Woe to Sava Owners. Time for an overhall. Shame!!
If you were in charge, what would you do to make Sava Senior Care a better place to work?
Replace the DON and educator with two people who are compassionate, hard working, and supportive
Why is the top management team not addressing the poor work environment and correct the foundation of the company?
The managers i worked with were very hard workers. Upper Management were not helpful.
