The workplace was a relaxed and caring environment. The internship allowed me to meet new people especially at the aquarium where it allowed me to educate different people about what is in Naragansett Bay as well as spread this Non-profits message of aiming to protect and improve the bay.

A typical shift at Save the Bay included educating visitors about the animals in the touch tanks. The most enjoyable part was being able to see people who had never heard of these animals be able to learn something new, and that you were the one helping. This volunteer position is a great way to gain experience for jobs in the same field.
