Excellent Company to work for
HR BENEFITS SOFTWARE INTERN (Former Employee) –  Louisville, KYJuly 9, 2018
Was a intro to HRIS and was a great opportunity to learn and get a feel for the kind of work I would be interested in my future. Position was a 6 month temp that was extended but was never made permanent.

Led by a clueless manager
Maintenance Technician (Former Employee) –  Lewiston, MEApril 20, 2018
Maintenance team run by clueless drunk. The technician's only copping tool is to get completely stoned for breakfast and repeat for lunch. The lack of leadership and communication is only topped by upper managements inability to see through the smoke. The lack of direction and seemed to stem from the completely clueless maintenance manager. The HR department is geared towards eliminating any technician that might point out there discrepancy. Avoid applying for any position at this company!

Salaried Professional (Current Employee) –  Bardstown, KYMarch 28, 2018
Complete disconnect between corporate level management and plant. Or at least that’s what I thought!! Corporate level management sees these reviews and hears the concerns of employees leaving but are not willing to do anything about it. The entire place is very confusing. Plant wide management is so poor it is border line incompetent and negligent. I would seriously advise anyone whom has a choice to not take a job here.

company lacking integrity
Manager (Current Employee) –  KentuckyNovember 16, 2017
company continues to diminish growth of existing employees and promote growth of new hires. zero accountability for senior management not living the "culture" as once defined by CEO. other than the growth rate of the company, nothing else sets the company apart from competition. company offers 10 vacation days upon start for all levels - still under market for senior management professionals joining company.
Pros
compensation; strategic thinking; growth; industry is stable
Cons
no work/life balance; no accountability; culture shift; benefits including vacation and perks

Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Owensboro, KYSeptember 14, 2017
Say goodbye to a personal home life yes they pay very well and the management is very brutal threatening and frankly without skills which causes all the required overtime. I highly recommend you seek a different company to work for if you are looking for a company to stay with over a year because after a year you won't be able to take it anymore.
Pros
Pay
Cons
Abusive unskilled management

Operator (Current Employee) –  Bardstown, KYJuly 21, 2017
The abuses are too many to list. Systems are beyond out of date. Cronisim, favoritism, and unprofessional style of management in the place is just sad. It can be assumed the Owners just don't care about the employees or the company only the bottom line $$$. Don't get me started on sanitation, and safety surprised it's doors are still open. What about that lagoon? Home of the original swamp thing. Pass this place up. Run don't walk.
Pros
You can get drunk an then it won't bother you.
Cons

very poor place to work
Data Entry Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Lewiston, MEJuly 18, 2017
I only worked for this company for 3 weeks, they decided to let go for the following reason: "I had no integrity". I excelled at my job and worked well with everyone there, I am not sure how they even found the reasoning valid. The person I worked with that trained me, spent most of her day operating her personal side business' of owning a bar and rental buildings, from her work station. Although the pay and benefits were very good, it is not worth working for this company as they are the ones with no integrity, letting go good and dedicated people, and keeping those who use the company's money and resources for their own gain.
Pros
good benefits and pay

Not a great company to work for.
Processing Clerk (Former Employee) –  Lewiston, MEJune 19, 2017
The company will hire you in at one position and then add other positions to your role. There is no life/work balance, management will overwork you and then replace you. HR department does not have the workers best interest at hand. Office workers are treated much better than anyone on the production floor. Lots of nepotism and advancement if you kiss up to the right people. They don't train you to do your job effectively, but if you make mistakes it will be announced to all management.
Pros
Lot's of work hours and above average pay for the area.
Cons
Management, lack of training, HR Department is terrible, everyone hates their job

Tour guide (Former Employee) –  Bardstown, KYJune 7, 2017
Enjoyed working there. meet alot of people during tour times. Tours started at 9am and ended at 3pm. (last tour of the day started at 3pm). Worked with proud workers in the alcohol industry. Always learning new things about bourbon. Glad to have been apart of a growing and thriving business. Hardest part of job was doing tours in pouring down rain and cold weather. Most enjoyable part of job was teaching and showing the guest on how bourbon was made and teaching guest the way this particular distillery came to be and how it made its' bourbon
Pros
great atmosphere, time off if needed

Maintenance Technician (Former Employee) –  Bardstown, KYMay 19, 2017
Worked here for two year's. Was never treated fairly. Always made to do someone else's job, because that person didn't want to. No repricusion against that person. And overtime mandatory 5 mins before your leaving. Working screwed up swing shifts and pulling doubles.
Pros

Barely better than unemployment.
Union Laborer (Current Employee) –  Frankfort, KYDecember 13, 2016
Management from top to bottom-feeders are relatively clueless as to how operations coincide between departments.

There is a dyer need for overall improvements in the areas of effective communications, especially between departments. Emphasis needs to focus upon production rather than attainment of meaningless accolades/certifications.

The money to stress induction is not commensurate and you'll get to work with a bunch of entitled jerks who only care about themselves.

Pass...
Pros
You're not unemployed, so there's that...
Cons
Too many things to list. Trust me, it's a nightmare.

Very poor place to work overall. Money was decent
Lab Technician (Former Employee) –  Lewiston, MEJuly 31, 2016
Typical work day - OT at a moment's notice - management that insults you in front of others. The more you know, the more they force on you. Co-workers are nice though because it's a 'we're all in this together mentality.' HR is a joke. They take management's side 100% of the time. Hardest part of the job was being forced to cross-train.
Pros
Decent pay
Cons

This place is a joke, the supervisors are a bunch of has beens that no other company would want to hire. HR are under qualified. Systems are outdated. Employees are extremely lazy, there is no structure or organization. Headquarters needs to do a full investigation of this facility.

Terrible union, old union mentality, terrible union policies
Filler operator (Former Employee) –  Bardstown, KYApril 20, 2015
If you haven't been there for 10 years plus, you'll get screwed over by the union at every turn. Just doing your job is hard, when you have a group protecting people that do less, for more pay. OT and double shifts would happen without warning. 7 days a week, 8-16 hour days (thanks Union) wears a person quick.
Pros
OT after 8 hours per day
Cons
Union, union workers, pay scale, vacation policy, 7 days a week

Growing Liquor Supplier
Regional Sales Manager (Former Employee) –  Metairie, LASeptember 5, 2014
I managed the territories of New England, MD, DC, DE. I traveled 80% of the time. A typical day would begin at 6:00 am and end at 10:00pm.

There was always something to do including during vacations and weekends. In their growth they initiated many system changes that didn't function properly from outside the main offices and the growing pains ended up moving on many highly motivated good people that couldn't continue with the lack of work life balance.

My direct manager had a mild stroke and was reporting to the CFO of the company while he recovered. After he came back it was difficult to get things done.

I enjoyed seeing the growth of my territory and profit but couldn't keep up with the growing pains and lack of management support.
Pros
Growth of my business

Lack of leadership
