You get 6 sick days a year. They are not accumulated like vacation days. Jan 1, you get 48 hours. Its a use it or lose it type deal. So by Dec 31, it does not matter if you have sick time left, it will not roll over. You start off with the same amount Jan 1.

I felt proud at first, then the students asked why the shop had no equipment. Granted this was a new program but the funding should've been in place before starting class, showing off the nice shop/ work area is a selling point

The interview process is pretty extensive, as you will have more than one, but they falsely promise what the company represents as far as family-like. Every department is separated. Nobody gets along. Management does not try to team build.
