Bar-Back (Former Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVApril 3, 2018
It was very energetic and a great group of people .Never a dole moment and the money was great. The only bad thing is there were sometimes a lot of changes. A lot of changes in management is sometime not good for the group of workers. However the group was skillful and always professional.

It's a very busy place and you still get a chance to learn new things. Working there taught me to serve fine dinning food and work in a very stressful enviroment

Bartender (Former Employee) –  Miami Beach, FLJune 10, 2017
This is where I started my career with SBE, and I dont have plans to leave SBE. A beautiful location with an iconic pool like none other. Events like Art Basel use the Raleigh for their official reception party, and night clubs use it for pool parties.
Pros
location, clientele
Cons
slow during summer time

Zero work/life balance
Management (Former Employee) –  Miami, FLApril 25, 2017
The sbe Group is very unorganized, and doesn't think through decisions. They operate on a shoe-string staff, and provides no work/life balance, I mean zero. Management calls/emails/text 24/7. If you're considering working for this company, run for the hills.
Pros
free lunch

no work/life balance

Loss Prevention Officer (Former Employee) –  Miami, FLJanuary 4, 2017
This company seems to be having a problem with their management staff. The scheduling at the property that I was hired at was horrible. I was told that I would be working a 40 hr. work week. That turned into the "budget cut" battle overall I believe Sbe makes a lot of promises to it's employees but does not deliver. I guess if you are willing to work anytime without schedule restrictions this is the place for you.
Pros
Nice properties to work
Cons
No room for growth poor salries with no guarantee of 40hrs a week.

Cook (Former Employee) –  Hallandale Beach, FLDecember 20, 2016
It will drain you. Worst place to work, people doesn't have work ethics or any moral values. Ohhh, so bad that the managers don't even go to the restaurant, rarely seen at the location.

Marketing/Sales Intern (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CADecember 13, 2016
Very elitist mentality. its all ex wannabe models and actors who realized they had to get a real job or trust-fund kids who are friends with someone who got them the job

Awful Management, high employee turn over
Server (Former Employee) –  Hallandale Beach, FLSeptember 13, 2016
Great money awful place to work. Will work you to the bone. No breaks. Management loves to belittle staff and talk behind their backs. Co-workers decent enough. Hardest part of the job would be working double shift or working a beach shift..Guest that come in to dine are usually very friendly, kind and good tippers.
Pros
amazing view of the beach
Cons
little to no breaks and lots of manual labor
