If I was in charge I would not set unrealistic goals for the monthly sales quotas such as expecting each sales floor member to sell $50k- $80k worth of furniture per month.

Most of your coworkers are incredible and helpful. Management sits on a pedestal and makes every mistake your fault while they lead without example. If store sells are down, be prepared for extended hours, call nights, etc without overtime and it's justified by you being a commission associate. No leave time at all in the first year and doctors notes count as occurrences, as do any tardies. Note this doesn't apply to management, who is consistently late taking long lunches to go shopping (and it gets bragged about).
I went back to selling cars. At least I actually control what I make without management running off good customers with their arrogant attitude.

One major reason for leaving would be to seek out much better pay for sure. Another reason would be because the of the huge lack of help needed for employees in certain areas of store where and when it’s needed and times it’s needed the most. There has got to be more than one person in the warehouse to do all the physical labor.

For management, you have to be there a year before you get any at all, however after the year, you automatically get 3 weeks total per year and this goes up every so many years.

$9 an hour and you spend all day listening to how nothing you do is right by higher management. If you make a mistake, let's say you transpose 2 numbers (an easy mistake to fix) they doc your pay. The job isn't worth the stress or the pay.

$9 an hour with a $3 bonus for every debt protection you sell. Office support does the contracts for sells. Some days you'll have no customers, some days you'll have 10 and sell 3 of these bonuses.
