From your home to the office location, you do get paid for mileage. You do not get paid for mileage delivering the packages. Just ask to be compensated if you are driving an hour out from your location.

There is no interview. They tell you what functions you will perform, a little about pay and scheduling, and then ask if you are interested. If you are, they send over the on-boarding stuff and get you scheduled for your first day. The turn-around rate is so high, they can't afford to pass up on willing people.

Then after a few days you are on your way to running around like a chicken w your head cut off and running your car into the ground.
Oh and they charge fee after fee so this is another reason your checks are below average.
