Possibly interesting work, poor management in the Pacific Northwest

"Don't fix the statistics, nobody looks at them anyway, it costs too much to fix them" is a direct quote from a PNW VP. If you can deal with micro management, passive aggressive managers and poor office culture, SCS may offers some interesting work.
Much of the geologic work involves routine field sampling and rote editing of cumbersome reports that have not significantly changed for decades.
There seems to be little opportunity to think in an original or creative way, especially if it does not conform to the way it was done since the 1990s.
