I joined SD Solutions after speaking with my executive counterparts at several other companies. All of them stated that leadership, particularly the CEO was a great person to work with. After joining the team, I found the comments made by my counterparts to be true. I have been a part of several initiatives at SD Solutions that have been extremely interesting and truly impactful in my work with the company. Spinning up our Cyber Lab is one prime example of the great work our company continues to do progressively improve on. After my extensive career in government and the military, there was a tendency for me to be associated with large multi-national enterprises. Working with SD Solutions has been a rewarding experience and I look forward to seeing new faces join the company.When it comes to challenges: Working with a government client service organization can be challenging and is not a good fit for everyone. Government clients can be very specific and much of the demands are driven by regulatory guidelines. An honest assessment of how your personality fits with this type of environment is always a great way to ensure a good fit.When it comes to management my best advice is: Continue to foster creativity and innovation. Continue to enhance organizational flexibility and resilience. Continue sharing your long-term view to build the shared vision of where the organization is going. Keep influencing employees to translate that vision into action. GO TEAM SD Solutions!

I work remotely through this company and I have been able to do so much in my community and meet many professional friends that can help me out in the future, I have thoroughly enjoyed this job

I came from a "Big 3" firm.

Typical day involved my building the BD practice for the company which is why they hired me. I was very busy making meetings happen for company founder who is a long time friend of mine.

I really loved supporting my government client!

I really had great expectations for this job. I loved supporting my government client and I miss them a lot. I had a really tough time with my corporate manager who is a VP at SD Solutions. I did not like the workplace culture because I felt under a lot of unreasonable pressure. I think the hardest part of my job was dealing with her. My most enjoyable part of my job was supporting my clients. I still miss them.

Extreme emotional stress, Corporate manager was very hard on me, I felt under-appreciated

Productive environment, good place to work

Training classes are offered, there is always something to complete or learn, gaining plenty of experience is easy given the tasks assigned, good flexibility regarding time of day working.

Management follows open door policy which makes it easy to communicate ides, desire for growth or challenges. There are lots of opportunities for career growth. Management listens and provides opportunities to employees based on their interests and career goals.

Productive, Uplifting, Encouraging, Excellent place to work.

SD Solutions is the best place to work. It is a credible and reliable company with their finger on the pulse of the industry. CEO collaborates with individual team members to establish a development path and provide resources to needed to attain results. I am kept busy and had assignments that fit my credentials and even learned more on the job. There is enhancing growth potential through additional education and training.

SD Solutions is a very nurturing environment that aims to grow alongside its employees, who are given opportunities to further our education through training and support for certifications and degrees. Employee wellness--including physical, mental, and long-term financial health--is cared for with benefits. The workplace culture itself is friendly, inclusive, and tight-knit like a family unit. People from a wide variety of backgrounds are welcomed, and their personal needs are both accommodated and respected.

Productive and Encouraging Work Environment

Working for SD Solution is a hands on environment where you are learning, growing everyday. A typical work day is busy and filled up with internal and external initiatives. Not only do you learn about the world of government contracting but also all the essential parts of working in a team, learning how to time manage, and produce successful deliverables.

Company truly cares and values employee growth

Skills and experience of employees are very much valued at SD Solutions. Employees are encouraged to be creative and try new things without fear of failure. Good performance is greatly appreciated and employees are fully supported with time and resources to improve in areas of interests. Leadership team have decades of strong experience in the business and it is a pleasure to work alongside them and learn and contribute.

Great Opportunities and Leadership in a Fast-growing Company

I was hired as a deputy program manager on a federal contract and in less than a year I was given the opportunity to become a program director and manage multiple contracts/programs because I exhibited the ability, drive, and commitment to the organization and our customers. Our leadership recognized and rewarded that.

Pros

Excellent and caring leadership, myriad growth opportunities, excellent benefits and training and development, and a community corporate culture.

Cons

110% effort & contribution is expected but I don't really feel this should be considered a negative, every firm should require and afford their talent to grow and to expand, developing knowledge and skillsets in other areas is a mutually beneficial arrangement

If you could work for one company and one company only, SD Solutions, LLC is the place...

SD Solutions, LLC treats its employees with respect and compassion. Not only do I feel higher management as viable learning sources, but we are also a "work family" that is committed to the same outcome - satisfying our client's interests. The employees are incredible to work with.The CEO of the company provides us with all the necessary training and tools needed to improve our skillset. This not only aids in improving job performance but boosts morale which in turn increases productivity. He is a very understanding and patient boss. His "door" is always open.I am exceptionally content working here and believe anyone that has a chance to be employed by SD Solutions, LLC should definitely consider it.

Caring Employer

Worked for 2+ years. It is a growing organization. They care about employees and empathetic to family needs and provide flexibility. When the Government (client) was shut down, the employees were paid and no one was laid off.
