This company seems to work with their employees to help them improve and advance in a role that suites their specific skill set. There we meetings that were beginning to be implemented to help create a space of improvement in communication and overall success.

Thank you for your kind and honest review. We pride ourselves on providing opportunities to our employees to grow and develop their skill sets. We also own areas of opportunity, including the need to improve communication companywide. While it is a work in progress, we are appreciative of the strides forward and credit our employees for helping us get there.

No advancement opportunities. Position was siloed to one specific part of the job that no one else wanted to do. Expected to train others, but received zero opportunity to advance.

Great company to work for if you need flexibility

I joined SEAM Group after being on the road for the past 12 years as a Sales Account Executive and was looking for a less stressful career. So far I’m not disappointed. My immediate supervisor has done an exceptional job of giving me the opportunity to work in various departments and help solidify my career path at SEAM. It’s a great company to work for if you like to learn new things and work with a great team!

While SEAM Group has seem some challenges with our rapid growth that resulted in difficult decisions, we are confident in our path forward and the people we have helping take us there.

Great company with great benefits!

If you are a FTE on a non-exempt status you receive unlimited time off. Pay is about industry average. Great company, just going through so struggles at the moment.

Solid place to work

I have been with Seam Group for a few months now. It can be a grind and the travel is rough. You will travel constantly but I was warned this would be the case right off the bat. Every issue Ive had my direct supervisor has done his best to take care of and keep me happy. Your work will be gone over throughly so if you do not like criticism this might not be for you, but you will learn from this criticism if you apply it to your work. Overall I am happy with my career and I feel appreciated, I feel management cares about me, my health and my well being. They fully know how hard parts of the job can be and go the extra mile to make it easier on you. I do not get to interact with many other employees but the ones I have met have been great, offering help and guidance. If you want to learn and work for a place that will work to keep you there, go for it!

Amazing culture!

This is the best place that I have ever worked. Right now I get to work from home and have flexible PTO. I feel supported by my boss and my peers. I would highly recommend joining the organization.

Thank you for your feedback, we're glad to hear you had a seamless onboarding process and are supported in your role. 2021 allowed us to introduce Flexible Time Off to salaried employees. Although less traditional than what we've done previously, we empower our employees to make sound decisions that support a strong work-life balance, including taking additional time off as needed.

This has been a great place to work. The company understands the impacts of COVID and has instituted a work from home policy. The culture of the workplace is supportive and transparent. I enjoy what I do and enjoy coming to work every day. I have been able to grow my skillset in my position and look forward to more growth opportunities in the future.

Although we can't wait for the pandemic to end, we're glad to hear that the measures we've taken have contributed to a better, more supportive, flexible, and transparent workplace. Additionally, we are excited for the growth opportunities as well!

Great culture, progressive leadership & people first mentality

SEAM Group is relatively new as it was created from a merger of two previous organizations; however, those organizations were around for years. The culture is one that gives employees freedom and flexibility, and it is clear that the management team cares about you as a person. We have seen many new changes in policies that are beneficial for employees (such as a minimum of 4 weeks of PTO, more benefit options, lower costs, etc.). It's really great to work for a company that cares about its employees and you aren't just a number. I also love the diversity of employees.

In addition to navigating through the pandemic with flexibility and providing flexible time off options, we truly enjoy the the innovation and adaptability of our employees! As great and progressive as our leadership team is, the contribution of all of our employees doesn't go unseen. Additionally, our HR team is working to build out career pathways, stay tuned for additional grows to grow and develop within SEAM.

Work/Life balance could be better, but great company with great management.

Management is accommodating to your issues and needs if communicated properly. Sometimes job scheduling gets intense and sight of work/life balance is lost. But it is easily rectified when brought to the attention of management. Allows for time off when needed for reasonable requests. Overall a great company with oppurtunity to advance.

Pros

All travel costs paid for by company (within reason) including meals.

Cons

Work/Life balance should be held to a higher standard.

The people in SEAMGROUP is fantastic, the job is good aswel. It's relaxed so you don't have to rush things. The project is huge so you have to take some time to sink some information before starting

Competitive pay, upward mobility, people-first leadership.

SEAM Group is a relatively young brand, offering limitless growth opportunities, both for the brand and its employees. Our CEO promotes a people-first agenda, empowering employees to make good decisions for themselves, our customers, and our brand. Compensation and benefits are decent. We also have a new HR leader, whose team is working around the clock to ensure employees and managers have adequate resources to perform their jobs well. Because SEAM Group is new and an acquisition of two brands, there has been some lack of standard processes and procedures, however, HR and leadership have been phenomenal in working through this and providing resources.

Good place to work. I learned project development through Agile methodology. Management is focused towards sales. Work place culture is laid back. Project release phase. Good people around.

Very "Techie" company, super quiet office environment with a Fooseball table....very confusing.

Morning meeting every day with commencement of daily chores. Learned valuable time management skills pertaining to the office environment. Learned basic computer skills and became familliar with software like Excel, Photoshop and Office, having been hired with limited skills. Management is very patient, yet takes a no training approach.

Pros

Breakfast on Monday mornings, catered lunches, relaxed work environment.

Cons

Stress about confusion with what needs to be done.
