Applied through the website. Had a recruiter set the interview up, and went all downhill from there. Got to the interview and was told they had no positions but they would put my application on file so when it got busier they would call. Very unorganized in my opinion.
My interview was pretty simple, I didn't get asked any scenario questions like I thought I would. The only thing I got asked about was my availability, how did you hear about the position, and why do you want to work at sears. The rest of the interview was pretty much the interviewer explaining what was expected of me.
Long but it is real and every thing is done on over the computer.
The interview process is comfortable and educational; in that interviewers make you feel comfortable and answer all your questions.
Not bad process, ask alot of questions to get to know who you are, show you the store

The interview process consists of sitting in a small, dark room that seemed to be a storage area. The HR representative asks you the standard interview questions for about 15 minutes. If you passed the first test, you are called back to be interviewed by the manager of the department you applied for. That interview is more in depth and lasts about 30 minutes.
Interview process was standard- started with the team lead of the job I applied for, then went to HR. They asked pretty standard questions such as describing a time you had a challenging person to deal with.
It was very fast and easy with good communication..
Supervisor interviewed me then had the store manager interview me who hired me.
Generally a candidate will interview with several team members and team leader on the same day. Each team will have an interview guide to follow so questions are not repeated. The team will meet after interviews are concluded to confer on the candidates and a decision will be reached by consensus.
