Teamwork-Holistic approach and a caring team. The staff goes beyond a paycheck to make sure the residents are cared for. The focus is the residents. We have a great respiratory team on the vent and trach floors which again gets excellent care. You can rely on the care, yes its an old building but look beyond
LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in Seattle, WA

Work is hard, but that's what nurses do (a lot of walking, standing at med cart, heavy med pass and vitals, even before Covid). Call bells, vent bells, feeding pumps, ringing can drive you insane. Need more staff for the acuity of the residents. Much can be done to improve the overall care for the residents and staff, but they are just not there yet.

Since I started working at Seattle Medical I have felt more at home in my position than any other job I've had in Seattle. The staff here truly care about each patient and dedicate their time to trying to give their best care. Administration truly has developed in to another family of mine that I can rely on and trust.
Restorative Nursing Assistant in Seattle, WA

This place does not care about their employees. We constantly work short. They purposely put peoples names down who never work those shifts, which causes cnas to fight and argue.
Activity Director in Seattle, WA

I once went 4 years with a raise. When I finally got one it was 2 percent. The next year I was expecting at least a 2 percent raise. It was not given they said that it only every 2 years.

Interview Questions
They did not have interview with me at the hiring time. at the end of the year new management kept following me and asked me , " tell me what you want". the confusing question and removal of my name from schedule and advising me to work less while short in staff, was very confusing. it ended very sweet and non discriminatory. it was rewarding after all. nice people.
