I like straight to the point situations and clear Melinda randoms.
There okay until they need you to pick up double shifts at the last minute
Depends on your post. 7-8 hrs or more sometimes up to 16-24 hr shifts. Ft work is 32 hrs or more anything 30 & under is pt. If you’re smart get 1st or 2nd shift in a closed location otherwise you may be doing a lot of 3rd shift OT work. People or unreliable workers call out all the time on weekends and 3rd shifts. The pay is low so morale is lower. Find a post that is not 24 hours, make sure you work with someone reliable. Work out a deal where you & your co-worker cover each other if you need time off or shift changes. Don’t expect help from SA if you want time off because they threaten you with loss of your post/job if you’re unable to work your assignment. They threaten to also withdraw or withhold pay raises if you don’t or can’t work your designated shift. It’s all written plain as day, if you need time off you will be penalized! Don’t get this job if your personal life won’t allow you to commit to their employment demands.
The work hours are good

All security jobs suck, low pay bad benefits no matter who you work for or job site. All any company wants is a warm body. If they could prop a dead body up they would. Get a real job if you're young and still can.
40 hours if they like you or it's 32. Multiple sites not one because hey screw you right.
