Owners had questionable ethics and even more questionable business practices. The company was continuously struggling to keep Vendors paid. To raise capital the owners were constantly duping new investors.

The company will micromanage all employees daily. At times they even require your cell phone to link to the satellite network to see where you are and what time you checked in and checked out of appointments. These people are unstable.

I was a quality test technician at Securealert (now TrackGroup). They are a cutting edge offender monitoring company that produces ankle monitors and other technologies used to monitor criminal offenders on parole, probation, house arrest, and awaiting trial. The company grew rapidly, which opened a lot of avenues for advancement. I started as a temp employee, and was eventually hired full time. I started building the straps for the ankle monitors, moved into the repair and rework department, where we soldered and fixed the circuit boards, and finally moved into the testing and quality department. At the time, some processes still needed some work, but the management was very open to new ideas, and were very creative in taking care of any issues.

This was a wonderful place to work for and provided me with allot of financial security for a period of time. This job was a great place for me to grow as an individual and I walked away with allot of job skills.
