Wages must include local cost of living and travel costs. I can't afford an apartment in Grass Valley on $11.50 an hour. Plus car, insurance, and utilities. No good groceries!
Listen to their employees. if they cant make it to a job site that's out of Sacramento stop scheduling them to go out of sac unless they proven to management otherwise that they could make it out of town.
Stop hiring new staff at a higher pay rate than the senior officer whom has already put in years on the job and more than likely will have to train the kid who already makes more through the gate. It decreases morale
Be up front about the job duties
Securitas needs to pay their employees mileage for driving over 30 miles to a site. I was told this was the policy when I was hired and when I asked to fill out mileage paperwork the management said we don't do that.
This company needs to learn how to walk the way they talk!
Management needs to actually listen to employees' concerns instead of dismissing them, especially if everyone on the site has the same issue.
Look for your active Officers that have the drive and experience to move them up instead of hiring someone new into a management role such as branch manager, schedule, recruiter, front desk secretary, Human Resource director. There has been about 10 chances in the main office for me to move up but always passed up. And when new comes in they really don't know what is going on with regular officers on sites.
Pay their employee's.
Pay female site supervisors what males counterparts in the area get.
Fire the branch manager and secretary.
Because he lies to the employees
Talks behind their backs about them
Is having an affair with the secretary while he is married
He doesn't give out checks on time he's made employees wait weeks to get a check they should of had weeks before
They don't know how to run the office properly
They fire employees for false reports with no proof
