The training was fun, I liked that! All the managers were super sweet and actually helped me a lot on the day to day. I had a small training class of like three people and we all worked together well. I'm not sure if they are still there. Im not though. The lady who does call monitoring though was all over me and would talk about me to other people and to other employees... *Probably would still be there if it hadn't been like that.*

I have been at Select Blinds for almost 3 years. I’ve seen a lot of different management styles since I’ve started. I’ll have to say it was a very hard adjustment in the middle of all that with a different manager and it became very challenging at times. So over the last year and a half I have seen management try to change and become more efficient and also more accommodating to their employees. All of us try to strive for excellence to provide amazing customer service to our customers. Customers do make it challenging sometimes. But overall there is great benefits working here. The pay is also nice. And you do have managers that are very accommodating and have sympathy empathy and respect. You do have to be a quick learner and you have to work in a fast-paced environment and sometimes that can be stressful and challenging on itself. You have to have a willingness to learn and a willingness to adapt and change when things need to be changed. I enjoy working at Selectblinds and it’s hard to see myself working anywhere else at this time. I do enjoy having great conversations with customers who do want to get things fixed correctly with a sensible minds. There is a lot of great employees here and it seems to be very family orientated to a degree because we spend more time together with each other than we our families.

A typical day at SelectBlinds. Being mainly a call center, there is a lot of talking on the phone with all kinds of people from different walks of life. But beyond that, there is a sense of community where everyone wants to help each other.I have learned more facts about blinds and shade that I care for, but I have also learned many useful life skills like, communication/negotiation, computer/office skills, how to play ping pong, and how to teach others.Over the past year, there has been a very positive change in management. I truly feel appreciated here and I constantly receive positive feedback and coaching that has helped me improve and move up the ranks quickly. There is so much room for growth here, in the 1 Year, 4 Months, and 25 Days I have worked here, I have never once thought about looking for another place to work. The hardest part of the job is, well, the job. Talking to customers is hard, especially if you have bad social skills. However, The amount of help we receive from the supervisors and management makes it that much easier. Constantly I see people being given gift cards to various places simply for coming in and doing their job. It helps everyone feel appreciated. Food is catered once per month, and I'm talking good food.Overall, SelectBlinds has turned over a new leaf and it's just going up from here. Are you going to join us?P.S. GREAT Bonuses twice a year

If you're going to join the customer service team, you're going to be dealing with customers. 95% of them are nice, 4% are difficult, and 1% you just have to get through. The work isn't hard and you have full control over how quickly you grow with the company. There's no quotas or scripts to read, and as long as you put in an honest effort, you can work mostly independently. There's plenty of support if you need it and the team works together quite well. The hardest part is working with customers but other than that, it's a pretty great place to work. There's catered lunches, gift cards handed out, and a casual work environment. If you're reading the old reviews, that management team is gone and things are completely better than they were before.

This job will test you. There will be times when the challenges are difficult or the obstacles are plenty, but the team will hold you together, and you will never be penalized for leaning on your peers. Communication is the key to a career at
