Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) (Former Employee) –  Northfield, ILMarch 17, 2019
A good company. Based on productivity. The team worked well together. We worked with patients to achieve their long term goal of maximizing independence. Patients were cared for very well by the staff of the facility and communication amongst the rehab team was very done.

Could be great, but its not
COTA/L (Former Employee) –  Pensacola, FLMarch 9, 2019
I work with some good fellow therapist and some not so good, Concurrents are heavily enforced to the point of low hours even though you could be treating 9-10 hours. Management on every level is all about money. Local Pensacola DOR very passive aggressive unless you are in her favorite club, low pay, no holidays off or extra pay, company decides when you come in to start not flexible-you are forced at start time, 92 productivity for assistant and 90 for OTRs and PTs. Must find your own coverage which is very limited PRN staff, been promised for over 6 months for bigger PRN staff, still nothing. PTO must be used for any appointments, sick days jury duty, you can build up quite a few hours but must be used for all and forced to use. Smoking facility. Hard to get standard work week, unless favorite. New staff want to leave, feels unethical to them

I did get along with alot of co-workers prob the best part.
Pros
Therapy tech, PTO build up
Cons
Management, favoritism, all about money, low pay

Therapy Program Manager (Former Employee) –  Lawrenceville, ILMarch 7, 2019
I really enjoyed working for Select Rehab at the Lawrenceville facility. The caseload was booming while I was Program Manager for the therapy department. The regional managers that were my supervisors are amazing people and manager staff, more so than I could ever ask for in a work-place setting.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Current Employee) –  Sterling Heights, MIFebruary 20, 2019
This is a good therapy company to work for. They offer high wages, fair benefits, and up to 3 weeks accrued paid time off. They have contacts with several buildings in the area.

Program Manager (Current Employee) –  Chicago, ILFebruary 19, 2019
This was the first job that I was paid for my time. Hourly instead of salary. The job was difficult however every management job is difficult. I recommend working for Select.
Pros
Paid for your time!
Cons
Not given money towards continual education

Pta (Current Employee) –  Ann Arbor, MIFebruary 11, 2019
Disappointing to say the least. High productivity standards with expectations to work of the clock. Staff visited from other facilities seeing x2 patients at a time. Standard practice. Poor healthcare plan.

Therapy Program Manager (Current Employee) –  Glenview, ILFebruary 9, 2019
Select makes every effort to ensure that staff are providing appropriate skilled therapy interventions and billing appropriately for any services rendered. Select works with the facility to ensure that both Select and the facility's needs are being met.

Productive, no support from Management
Occupational Therapist (Former Employee) –  Rossville, GAFebruary 6, 2019
This company expected that OTR's be 85% efficient and assistants to be 95% efficient and when you are not you had to submit and reason why. When notified of fraudulent and unethical treatments nothing was done. Managers stated that they could not prove that the therapist was billing for services not rendered. Assistants were 98% or above productive yet had time to eat lunch (on the clock), chit chat with no patients and they were not questioned. When one therapist declined to pick a patient up as the patient was functioning at baseline the rehab manager would have another therapist eval the patient then put the patient on the initial therapist to supervise.
Cons
no Support from managers/micromanage

Worked at 2 different facilities One under construction with the job taking forever. The other very old and cramped. One population typical rehab the other light psych I wanted to stay at the rehab facility and they sent me to psych as full-time. Couldn't deal with that on a full-time basis

Have low expectations
PT (Current Employee) –  IllinoisJanuary 13, 2019
The facility I work for is wonderful. The day to day atmosphere of the contracted facility and the onsite manager is top notch, supportive and collaborative. Select management is the problem. They are out of touch with our day to day challenges and are micro-managers at their worst. Top management shows up once every 5 years, says what they think you want to hear, and then doesn't deliver. They cater to the client but have no respect for their therapists. They are constantly demanding more and more and your best is never good enough. Want benefits? You pay for any insurance you want, the "401K" has no company match, you must earn every hour in your PTO (no sick time, holiday time, or overtime), you can only carry over 40 hours each year, no raises unless you threaten to quit, no holiday bonuses, you purchase your own uniforms, no money for continuing education. They are a company that only sees the bottom line, not the human factor in healthcare. They have the highest employee turnover I've ever seen in any company I have worked for.
Pros
They are proactive in follow through with Medicare changes
Cons
lack of respect for their therapists

Physical Therapist (Former Employee) –  Orlando, FLJanuary 2, 2019
This review is for anyone who has a disability and wants to know what this company will do to accommodate you. They will do absolutely nothing no matter what you do whether you have doctors letters, have injured yourself on the job or cant complete a task without some assistance. They treat employees with no respect and will not help anyone but themselves. It's safe to say that no one likes working here so please stay away and find a company that actually takes care of its employees.
Pros
Coworkers
Cons
Bad Management, Low Pay, Stressful environment for anyone

COTA (Former Employee) –  Pompano Beach, FLDecember 8, 2018
Working on the Airimid contract side of things is awful. Stress for productivity and Med B numbers is ridiculous. Must have explanation for everything. No recognition for what is achieved and no opportunity for growth and advancement.

Good company but no room for advancement by the look of it.
Physical Therapist Assistant (Former Employee) –  TexasDecember 4, 2018
Seems like a great company in the beginning. Make sure you negotiate pay BEFORE you sign the contract because they DO NOT GIVE PAY RAISES! They hired multiple new employees during the time a was employed including prn employees which make more hourly. They do not take care of their full time enployees when it comes to pay raises. I had worked with select for over two years and asked multiple times throughout my employment for a raise due to financial hardship and they always had some excuse to not give it, yet continued to hire new therapists! Benefits are pretty expensive for a single income earning household so I had to opt out which defeats the purpose of the full time position benefits. Would have been better off being hired prn due to higher pay rate and pretty much guaranteed hours regardless. They do not recognize holidays and do not give extra pay for holiday work hours.
Pros
Decent pay when starting
Cons
No pay raises for future, no holiday pay or time off

PTA (Current Employee) –  Pittsburg, KSNovember 25, 2018
This company is similar to others I have worked for. Good benefit package, and pay. They also have PTO. Hiring process was not overly complicated, and I was able to start pretty quickly.
Pros
Good benefits, Pto, license reimbursement
Cons
