Go back to your flooring career and let a healthcare professional oversee a healthcare facility.

Need to rework the patient ratios. For what the RNs are expected and NEED TO DO to provide the most BASIC NEEDS FOR PATIENT CARE....MORE TIME needs to be devoted to each patient. Currently this is IMPOSSIBLE!! .....or, if you do attempt to do this, you are completely burnt out and accuring overtime just to get basic assessments in retrospectively - which is poor nursing practice!! Either way basic care nneds for meds or turns or mouthcare or anything is not being completed for all patients all the time. CNAs cannot do any of their work independently - always need an RN....Therefore the Ratios need to be LOWERED so we can give ADEQUATE care....and FIRE the Nurses who are Lazy and sit on their but and dont help the rest of the team!

While I loved the work ,the atmosphere was horrible. There was a group of employees from an House supervisor to staff nurses that were in a “ click”. If they did not like you they made your life horrible. They would lie to upper management about you. Go out of their way to harass you. Management did not stand behind you . The work load was overwhelming at times. It put patients at risk . The patients they take require extensive care and much time spent with them. But due to your workload, this was not possible. Management expected respiratory therapists to also act as techs. This was an ongoing battle with nursing staff. Rewarding work but was the most stressful place I have ever worked due to harassment from other employees.

Phones that are set at at the maximum volume and locked at the volume. Never fails I will be suctioning the patient or doing trach care and the phone will sound twice for every single bed twice hourly round or hourly turn. This is unnecessary because most patients don’t understand what the noise...they ask me if I could answer their phone. Or they say that’s your phone again? And I can’t even imagine being a patient at night trying to sleep Hearing that noise every hour on every single phone in the hospital.

A better management team because they are very unprofessional. Staring with the CEO, CNO and HR.

The entire staffing system needs to be reworked the workload distributed more evenly and far fewer negative comments made to staff every staff meeting was awful they talked to us as if we were petulant children

Improve training for charge nurses

You have to improve your culture. You have to stress excellence in patient care. Patients have to be turned and positioned every two hours. Mouth Care Hass to be done every two hours. Staff must be supported and encouraged to provide evidenced based care. You have a lot of work to do.

Dramatically improve on the processes and the marketing platform.

1. Fix the schedule to be fair to everyone. 2. Make H.R. apply policy equally to everyone. 3. Let everyone be heard and listened to. 4. Stop playing favorites and going off on people for no reason.
