Associate (Former Employee) –  Irving, NYOctober 18, 2018
If your not liked - you will be out the door especially during elections. The higher ups including HR don’t know how to do their jobs right. Some positions in departments barely get a break. The pay is lousy for some departments with the amount of demand that is on a person.
Pros
Benefits only if full time.
Cons
Short breaks, drama

Human Resources Assistant (Former Employee) –  Irving, NYMay 3, 2018
Very unprofessional human resources department. The director is a puppet for the president and the council. If you are not like you are not given a job.

Vision 2020 Intern (Former Employee) –  Irving, NYSeptember 25, 2015
I worked as an intern for their Vision 2020 program, which is for high school and college students. I worked with the Emergency Management department, where I enjoyed spending time with my co-workers.

Finance (Former Employee) –  Salamanca, NYAugust 11, 2015
To be a productive manager I learned early, open communication and be the role model you are asking of the staff you supervise. Good work ethics, visible to management and make decisions to the best of your ability. management sometime requires the hard decision in regard to personnel, this is where good listening skills are tested and to research the facts. The most enjoyable are the staff meetings and functions that bring them altogether to acknowledge their accomplishments working as a team.
Pros
early release when feasible pre holiday
Cons
short notice of early release impacts the public and someone has to stay back to take care of them
