The pay is terrible give the staff better starting pay and incentive raises. Insurance cost mote than the staff can afford. Staff don’t want to work hard for little money. Bottom line better pay and insurance.

Clean house. Get rid of managers and ED's that can't manage people. Give employees a raise. It is a sin to charge residents so much money and they get nothing in return. They have a right to quality care and proper staffing.

Listen to employees that actually do lower level work. When corporate visits a facility, they only focus on a small group of upper-level management. I was not even told who they people were from corporate...then they left without addressing any problems. The Bigshots ate lunch in our private Dining Room then left the building. Very disappointing!

Less favortism and hold management responsible for their behavior instead of blaming the employees under them for nonsense reasons.

SLC receives more bad reviews than good. The moral is low because of the higher ups distance with those who have daily contact with the residents who pay their big salaries as well as staff. The big shots need to take off their suits and find out what is really going on. People working for SLC have no faith that things will improve because of the way it continues to be run. There are more Senior Living options opening in my area soon. This company will go under soon because make needed changes are never addressed.
Good reviews are posted by a lot of people trying to keep their job or by people in the home office.

Model your company by doing research on similar companies that are run successfully. Monitor leaders of each facility that the corporate office receives complaints on. Finally, offer incentives to retain good employees so that outside companies are not needed to provide additional staffing which is very expensive!
