More work life balance than most consulting firms
Management Consultant (Former Employee) –  Austin, TXOctober 17, 2017
Sense Corp provides wonderful coworkers - you always enjoy spending time with them. At best, I built relationships with new clients, at worst, I sat around waiting to be staffed on a project and was not given opportunities to move up in the company. The downside of a small consulting firm is that one cannot be selective about clients or projects, which ultimately limits career growth opportunities unless you're one of the lucky few.
Pros
great people, relaxed culture for the consulting world
Cons
travel to uninteresting locations, demanding clients, small company so few advancement opportunities

Great work life balance and challenging projects
Management & IT Consultant (Current Employee) –  Austin, TXAugust 27, 2017
The culture of the company is what draws people in. The projects are challenging and the people are great - the only downside being the lack of project opportunities.

Technical Lead/Architect (Current Employee) –  Austin, TXMay 8, 2017
Sense Corp has a great cooperative culture, decent pay, and attracts very smart recent graduates. Not much focus on advancing senior "bread and butter" team members and travel gets old.

Great people, frustrating work.
Consultant (Former Employee) –  AustinJune 20, 2016
You will absolutely love the people you work with. They are funny, smart, and caring.

However, Sense Corp is too small of a firm to have much control over the work they win, meaning that your projects and career options are not necessarily in your control or the company's. If you are interested in data warehousing, you may love the company, especially for it's culture. If you are interested in functional or strategy work, including change management, you will probably grow tired of management and swag/happy hours trying to keep your mind off the lack of career growth. You also have no control over whether or not you travel.

Benefits and pay are definitely not competitive for the consulting industry, though the culture is definitely more relaxed and you work far less hours than at other firms.
Pros
Great people, relaxed culture in comparison to other consulting firms
Cons
travel, limited growth opportunities, pay is low for the industry, management is out of touch

Great company with a lot of potential and upside. Culture is fun and exciting. You're encouraged to think outside the box and grow personally as well as with the company.

Enjoyed my time at sense corp. Learned a lot! I left after spending several years traveling although they sometimes staff you on local projects. For me, this job helped establish the foundation for my career.

Great corporate culture with good management
Technical Management Consultant (Current Employee) –  St. Louis, MOMarch 10, 2014
Sense Corp has a great enviornment with senior executives that make you feel like family. Extremely supportive in your personal life and your career growth. Hardest part of the job is full time travel, makes staying with them after you have a family difficult if travel is a problem. However, if you can travel the experience you gain is exceptional.
Pros
Great people, yearly raises/bonuses
Cons
full time travel required, difficult clients at times

Market Development Director (Current Employee) –  Dallas, TexasFebruary 3, 2014
I telecommuted from home and worked with a variety of project managers and the sales team to identify, target, make contact, and close new accounts or new opportunities within existing accounts. My coworkers were young, fun, and full of energy and truly passionate about the company.
Pros
flexible schedule, great company gatherings
Cons
working from home is isolating

Senior Consultant / Senior Project Manager (Former Employee) –  Dallas, TXJanuary 17, 2014
This is a great gem of a company to work for. They are selective to ensure not just intelligence and experience, but also cultural fit.

No bureaucracy, very flat organization where good ideas from anywhere are allowed to shine.
Pros
Culture
Cons
Travel as a consultant
