Go over applicable experience with past companies. What are some recent successes in estimating and project management? What is your gross profit margins (on average)? Provide a time where you faced a difficult customer or situation and how you resolved it. Provide an example of scheduling a job start to finish, you may be given an estimate to review and how the trades would be lined up IE Gantt table or calendar. How would you go about documenting a job, what are the pertinent documents for a successful emergency service and repair IE Work Authorization, Estimate Sign Off, How to document adjuster approval, change orders/supplements, selection sheet, Punch List sign off, COC, and how to invoice a job. Provide a draw schedule for the estimate they are having you work with. How would you sketch or photograph a new loss or claim? May be presented some photos and will ask you drum up an estimate based off the visuals.
