Everyone Quits or Gets Fired for vocalizing concerns
Project Analyst (Current Employee) - Camp Hill, PA - December 6, 2023
The owners of the Team Wall franchise are absolutely egregious business people, along with their entire management team. They value dishonesty, fabrication, lack of morale, and retaliation. If you have an opinion or honest feedback, you will be fired immediately without any track of disciplinary procedures put in place. The Harrisburg location has some of the BEST coworkers. However, DO NOT trust your VP. I do not recommend anyone to work here. Majority of the people have been in the business together for over a decade and YOU are an OUTSIDER. They ARE NOT your friends. They do not have a training program in place and the managers will not train. What you say in confidence to your superiors WILL be used against you. There is VERY LITTLE work life balance. You will be required to work ON CALL for a 16 hour shift AFTER you’ve already put in a 8 hour shift at the office. You will be paid VERY minimal for your time. Also they have the HIGHEST turnover I’ve ever seen for such a medium size company. The WALLS can’t keep a solid team.
Pros
Coworkers, Fun parties
Cons
HIGH turnover, On call, management, no training, horrible benefits, no work/life balance

Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) - Bloomfield, CT - December 4, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? There are a couple of nice people. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? No clear lines of communication or authority. Multiple managers. Little training. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Everyone below management is teated like a temp. Most are dismissed without cause/reason ona regular basis after several months.

Great opportunity for anyone established or new to insurance claims restoration
Construction Project Manager/Estimator (Current Employee) - Naples, FL - December 2, 2023
This is a franchise based company so your experience can vary from office to office, but the group that owns and manages the Naples Office are exceptional at how they treat their personnel. It is a very tight knit community, and anyone with industry experience will know how demanding a technician, project manager, estimator, or boots on the ground position can be. Your success is predicated by those around you and the position is what you make of it. Having experience in IICRC, Xactimate, Symbility, and general office programs is recommended but they offer training and hands on training should you be new. You are provided a lot of freedoms as far as where you can work from, job site visits, scheduling, and can easily adapt your schedule and routine as you see fit. However, you stand a greater chance of success if you dedicate your time and make yourself available during normal business hours. Due to the nature of the work we do you will receive calls, texts, emails, etc. after hours but it's emergency services. It is to be expected and the pros far outweigh the cons. They do promote a work life balance and there will be times where you have to meet strict deadlines, work after hours, and/or weekends but they incentivize going above and beyond. Your efforts will not go unnoticed and there is room for growth and a commission depending on position. Naples, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, etc. are all gorgeous areas to work in, obviously near water and tropical climates, which means there is never a shortage of work. It's a dynamic environment to learn the ins and outs of permitting, -
Pros
Management that cares, good pay/benefits/bonuses, scenic environment, growth potential
Cons
Florida Insurance changes which complicate claim approvals, most homeowners will be paying out of pocket so need to ensure your initial estimate is accurate, cost of living may be high for some depending on position

Don’t waste your time
Estimator (Former Employee) - Fort Collins, CO - November 28, 2023
Worked here for about a year. I was provided a bonus plan when I was hired; however, it was never implemented. Management does not value quality employees, and they only care about making money and bonuses for themselves. Work environment was very unprofessional as well.

Jobs at SERVPRO
Lack of experienced workers
Project Manager/Foreman (Former Employee) - Goodyear, AZ - November 25, 2023
Management is not very helpful when in a bind. Each to their own, figure it out more or less. Lack of leadership. Hardest part is getting a straight answer from management and it's always your fault.
Pros
Plenty of work
Cons
Lack of experienced workers

No company values
Administrative Assistant/Receptionist (Former Employee) - Allentown, PA - November 20, 2023
The owner and manager do not care about their employees' lives outside of work. Everyone is just a number and if you're not 150% dedicated to Servpro, you mean nothing to them. Really difficult to feel fulfilled or like you have any purpose working for this company.

Appreciated.
Restoration Technician (Current Employee) - Georgetown, DE - November 17, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? The best part of working at Servpro of Sussex County is the management and coworkers. I've never worked for a company that hat genuinely cares about their employees and treats them like family. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Salty employees with entitled attitudes. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Lighthearted yet professional.

Had its perks along with its pitfalls
Crew Chief (Former Employee) - Tampa, FL - November 7, 2023
If you’re good and reliable you’ll get used for every hat available. If you suck you’ll be cut. Ownership at the tip did some things that I didn’t care Fire but overall they were decent people. Tried to take care of those who took care of them in their own way.
Pros
Freedom on the job
Cons
Always on call

If you like to get verbally abused then this is the place for you. And if you try to saying anything and stand up for yourself prepare to get cut in hours. They overwork you and and rush you to complete one job and move on to next. They dont care for the quality of work they push out they only care about the money
