Accounting Clerk (Former Employee) – Streamwood, IL – March 6, 2018
This was a temp Position in which it was an enjoyable workplace. Management was fair and impartial and brought fun into a heavy work days. As always in any work place there are different ways and procedures on how to process your daily work. The only hardest part as in any company in working in a Accounting Department and that would be closing the Month end and year end books but we always accomplished each task on time.
When eatable goodies were brought in for the company
Operations (Current Employee) – Streamwood, IL – June 9, 2017
I have worked for Shared Imaging for 8 years. This company does care about their employees and is continuously incorporating employee engagement to make it a better place to work. It has a small company atmosphere where you know all your co-workers but it definitely is not a small company in what they accomplish in the industry.
We work hard but the reward is in knowing that we work for a company that cares about our customers and our staff.
Sales & Marketing (Current Employee) – Chicago, IL – May 12, 2017
I am on the sales team, and there is a great sense of camaraderie. Everyone is looking to help one another rather than operating in their own silos, which quite a testament to management because our team is spread out across the U.S. Management is very interested in your own personal career goals and wants you to succeed in achieving them. As with all small/medium size companies, in some positions there is not much room for advancement. This of no fault to the managers, just simply a necessary component of an organization or this size. There is also a benefit to this, and that is that you have access to management rather than having several layers between you and them. The leadership team always has their doors open, and welcome ideas from ALL employees. The philanthropy committee is also bringing a great energy to the organization!
Good place to work if you can be somewhat flexible, good pay, room for growth
PET/CT Technologist (Current Employee) – NJ – April 28, 2017
Reading these reviews on my company who I have been working for about 5 years is sad. This company is great place to work. Shared Imaging only has a couple of reviews and it's most of which people who have been let go. I have been a technologist for this company and the people who work with me have been with the company for 6+ years. They don't go thru techs all the time which means many stay because the company is great and there is growth in the company if your willing to take those measurements.
Friendly Coworkers, patient interaction, change of scenery
Schedule varies, wont know schedule till the day before, last min travels
Hard enough job-then add horrible management to it.
Technician (Current Employee) – Usa – December 6, 2016
Crazy-horrible management-they think you are disposable and try to low-ball your pay. They will work you to the ground and the different hospitals will take advantage of you. Nobody cares about you/you will drive everywhere for this company only to be nit picked to death. Extremely stressful positions-not worth your sanity.
Customer Service Engineer (Former Employee) – Texas,Oklahome,and Lousiana – February 14, 2016
they pay good but the job is your life. The benifits suck do not have a good sales team, no focus on a company direction the company service division is loosing customers and they are doing nothing to prevent it.
Operations (Former Employee) – Streamwood, IL. – September 13, 2014
Horrible pay & benefits. HR actually encouraged me to look for good prescription deals for 90 day usage at drug stores because there was no typical co-pay for prescriptions. I have never run into this problem at any other company. Flaky & unqualified management. Incompetent staff from the management down to the service level. There are rumors that this company will be sold & that would be the best thing that could happen for the Shared Imaging customers. Very small & dirty office space with a fruit fly problem. I'm so glad I am gone & my best wishes for the employees that remain. This company was started in 1987, & their "software" & procedures are rooted in the 80s. No real software at this company.
Former Employee (Current Employee) – Streamwood, IL – June 5, 2014
All new management, getting rid of good employees, keeping rude, non-working employees. Looks like they are getting company ready to be sold. Losing lots of business every year. Management has no idea what is going on in company. Medical benefits are horrible for a medical company. Lots of intimidation and blame at this company. If you decide to interview here ask to interview a few employees.
Bad managers, rude, derogatory, cutting all benefits
Imaging tech (Former Employee) – Illinois – June 19, 2013
This company impresses upon employee that reimbursements for travel are not necessary - constantly @chews" down reality in travel compensation. Over kill on documentation for employment. Places contracted for work are temporary at best! No room to advance or change, not realistic about pay, for the responsibilities given to do! Management acts supportive, yet, easily disturbed w questions...which, since the worker is on a trailer (most often), when, questions arise, if management is not involved the client gets difficult w the staff and .... Not a good relationship! Basically, in a healthcare industry your often left to fend for self w little support
It's a job
Managers not supportive - quick to relieve employee
