They give great benefits and pay but treat the employees horridly. They don’t care why you aren’t at work just the fact you aren’t there, if your grandma died too bad attendance points if you were involved in a car accident, too bad even more attendance points both of which happened to me

Will drop hours for no reason and management is a bunch of immature children

With only 1 person working the front counter overnights they expect you to stand behind the counter at all times but somehow still get all the lobby work done.. it's impossible for 1 person to be in 2 places at once

Sheetz offers great pay and benefits but if you’re in the store, expect to work for it. Culture is good but they ask for your life, if you go in on a call in once they expect it out of you the rest of your tenure.

Coworkers Make or Break

Coworkers make or break your experience at Sheetz. The job is easy - though of course some days are busier than others. Pay is good for what the job is, too. However, some stores have terrible management and thus hire terrible coworkers. I've worked at 3 different stores, and only one was bad - but that one was so dangerous and vile I had to leave the company.

Great place to work

Sheetz was absolutely the best place I worked. The management was super nice, funny,caring, and fun. They were amazing. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking to work there. It can be stressful at times but so can other places and the pay is pretty good so that’s a plus

Great pay and benefits

Lots of work but lots of benefits and decent pay. You will have to work with others a lot. Customers can get to you but kitchen is nice to work in. You can get away by doing coolers too.

Good starting job

Okay starting job or maybe part time job if you don’t have experience, on your feet long hours and I only liked some of the managers and staff. Definitely fast paced if you’re working on food.

Mostly good with good management

Overall an awesome place to work in this industry. If you make it management level, there are lots of little bonuses and incentives. The only cons are the constant turnover & if you have bad management, it can make your entire shift unpleasant. 90% of the managers were good though.

Fun place to work

I like working at Sheetz. My coworkers are great and I enjoy talking to the customers who come in regularly. It can get busy but the shift goes fast because there is always something to do.

This job has terrible work life balance. You are always expected to work past your scheduled time. Then you are yelled at for working overtime. Terrible store culture. Absolutely no training. You are thrown into daily operations immediately with no training.

Great college job

Flexibility, pay and tuition support was great! It made paying for college much easier. Enjoyed working with a lot of the people and customers. Holidays with free coffee was always chaos though.

The workplace was terrible to work for and the management team was unfair and there was no communication what so ever

I didn’t learn anything because I was never given the proper communication and the basic training skills. The hardest part about this job is management

good pay, but not worth the stress

Sheetz is by far not the worst job you could have, but being there long term is not pleasant at all. Despite their strict point system, the overnight employees are almost never on time with no seemingly no repercussions, making everyone who's been there for 8+ hours stay longer. Training is not the best once you're in it, but you'll learn eventually, and it's not horrible. The best part is probably the pay, it's more than you'll get at other places that are similar in qualifications. Pretty flexible with hours as well.

Amazing when you have the staff to run a store
