Great in some respects, No communication and not customer focused; Poor Management

Shelby is a great place to work, with some notable exceptions. There is zero communication between departments. In fact, it is ACTIVELY discouraged by numerous members of senior management. As you can imagine, this results in bad situations that the customers are forced to endure in the end. Pay is not too bad at first, but since they were bought by Ministry Brands, hardly anyone is given raises. 401k matching is lackluster, and the PTO and health benefits are okay, but leave a lot to be desired. The culture and the majority of coworkers is pleasant, there's not a ton of drama, aside from what results from the severe lack of transparency between departments. It's sad that a company with so much potential sabotages itself this way.
