Unique Environment & Well Managed

I will never forget my time working at Shenanigan’s. The Pub has cultivated a welcoming environment that is the hub of the city. I’ve worked in 5 other restaurants and have never been in one that runs as efficiently as this one. They do pool tips, which provides incentive to work as a team. The friendships created with your coworkers and the regulars will alone makeit worth working there. The food is amazing and the tips are great. I did have issues with the dress code- I heard varying different things from different people about what to wear while working. If you’re dedicated, you can move up. Other than that, I don’t have many complaints. I miss it!

Not a reliable source of income

In the summer, this is a great job for experienced servers. It’s busy and there’s plenty of work. As the seasons move to fall and winter, the management will continue having you drive to work and wait there, unpaid, for an hour before telling you that they don’t need you and you can leave. Servers can be sent home (again after driving there and waiting for an hour) for half or more of their shifts. The people who work here are pretty nice though. It’s a great place to work in the summer.

Great place to work

I love my time spent at shenanigans. The owners were really there and cared about their employees and the customers. The only drawback of the job was that we got a lot of rowdy people in there and I had to have 23 security officers to keep them in check. But they did it

Quit before I even finished training

People were great, management was horrible. I missed a shift due to illness and the GM very passively aggressively told me I needed to “be reliable” after missing a single shift due to illness...in the middle of a pandemic. I also was late once due to some car trouble, which was completely out of my control and I kept the GM updated as much as I could. When I finally arrived, there were multiple rude, demeaning comments made to me and about me, some of which included profanity. So glad I left, 10/10 do not recommend

Great Owners

Shenanigans is a good place to work and the owners treat you with dignity and respect. Enjoyed my time working at shenanigan‘s and met a lot of interesting people.
