Productive and student orientated workplace
ABA Technician (Current Employee) –  Shrewsbury, MAFebruary 18, 2015
The ELC Program, within Shrewsbury Public Schools, is very student orientated. It is a very individualized program that focuses mainly on the students progress or lack there of and then how to fix it. All programs, lessons and therapies are designed through and mirror the students IEP. Everyone involved works collaboratively to maintain what is best for that student.
Pros
Productive, fun, student orientated work place, updated technology
Cons
Older school

A great place to work with children.
Music Teacher (Former Employee) –  Sherwood Middle School.October 25, 2013
During my last year there, I would arrive at school and prepare for and teach fifth grade general music classes. After lunch I taught 5th and 6th grade orchestra. Much of my enjoyment of the job came from working with the other teachers. We had many good times and laughs. The hardest part of the job was having to stand for prolonged periods of time, which was difficult with MS. At the time, I was not diagnosed with MS so did not know why standing was so difficult. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with the children. Their enthusiasm was wonderful.
Pros
Healthcare
Cons
The workload was too much for my MS.
