Production and fun workplace
Office Manager (Former Employee) - Hammonton, NJ - September 21, 2023
Great place to work and even better management! Loved it here! A typical work day was taking care of the front end, being the point of contact for customers and drop offs. The customers were also always a pleasure to work with.

Poor pay with poor management
Lead Graphic Designer (Former Employee) - Fort Collins, CO - September 14, 2023
Pretty awful place to work. You will be made to feel disposable and then gaslit into working harder for insultingly low pay. The owners/managers do not know anything about any of the equipment used in sign production, so if you are sick or need a day off, they will try to guilt trip you into coming in because they cannot operate without your labor. Moreover, they do not offer raises, but absurd sales incentives (which designers, installers, and production workers cannot effect) so when you don't get an annual raise, they will imply you didn't work hard enough. The absolute worst thing about working here though is the attitude. If you present any idea of how you could be more efficient, cut down errors, communicate better, etc, your idea will be shot down immediately. Not because of its merit, but because the owners cannot tolerate any idea that isn't their own. This happens until most people stop offering ideas, but low and behold, 1 month later they will announce that they are making a change that you described, only this time it was their idea. It is a demeaning place to work, run by detached incompetents who just wanted to own a business but without doing any work. Don't work here.
Pros
None, unless you think pizza is a substitute for a raise.
Cons
See review.

Crazy management, factory conditions What is the work environment and culture like at the company? You either Kill or be killed in the jungle. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Constant interruptions not enough training.

Nothing good came from working here.
Welder/Fabricator (Former Employee) - Troy, MI - August 28, 2023
I learned that they are deceptive when hiring in. Looks good on the outside but what's inside is ROTTEN. Day starts with a 15 minute meeting after you work for 15 minutes. Lots of interruptions and disorganization even though that 15 minure meeting is supposed to take care of all that. I prefer punching a time clock and working my day through. APP didn't work well with my phone and had difficulties punching in or out EVERY day. Very stressful place to work and forget raises. They are miniscule.
Pros
Air conditioning in the shop
Cons
Must have an expensive phone and Expect to use your phone for work at home with no pay for it.

Great people to work with
Account Executive (Former Employee) - Hicksville, NY - March 14, 2023
All in all great people to work with. Great company. If your not interested in helping people with their business then it’s not the job for you. Clients will put you to work just to say no but that’s apart of the job. No cons.

Hilarious watching unqualified people care so little. One guy used to throw up behind the dumpster while the other smoked pot.
Temporary Employee (Former Employee) - Philadelphia, PA - March 2, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Watching daily as utter incompetency, unprofessional, and unqualified baboons fail at their jobs. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Nothing is stressful when working on children's projects put together by adult toddlers. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? I saw drug use, drinking on the job, screaming fights, and people walk off like a bad bus ride....it was hilarious. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Walk in confused everyday that the company was still in business.

Franchise
Production/Installer (Former Employee) - Asheville, NC - January 3, 2023
Every signarama shop is different because they are owned individually. At Asheville's location, it is an employee-ran shop. Which means the salesman and designers essentially quote, order, receive and schedule installs for all customers. The issue here is the general manager is also the LEAD installer. So scheduling, workflow, shop issues were all left to the side as they spent their days putting vinyl on restaurants. The owners who should oversee day to day are rather in meetings or calls with one or two clients a day, again while the shop atmosphere is left to just the employees without management. There are major gaps between the workers, the systems, and the managers. There is no healthcare, no benefits, just you pushing profits while no one appreciates your efforts.
Pros
Work/life balance
Cons
Lack of leadership, poor management, decrepit shop

Shady company with no respect for their employees
Inside Sales (Former Employee) - Redding, CA - December 22, 2022
Very cliquey job culture/environment. What's worse, is management thinks the best way to get their point across, is by yelling and berating the people who work so hard for them. I was hired for Inside Sales and didn't even get to work the position I was hired for. They stuck me in production and my coworkers were incredibly passive aggressive to me, for no valid reason other than one coworker being upset because I got hired instead of their friend. They let me go after two days because I was one minute late on the second day, even though some of management showed up in 5-10 minutes later. Another red flag is they hire you through a temp agency so they can easily discard you if you don't fit in. Everyone is underpaid and overworked. They couldn't even let me go in person, or even talk to me about their concerns. Instead, I received a text from the temp agency terminating my employment 15 minutes after my shift had ended. Garbage company. Avoid if you want to work a job that you actually like and want to make more than minimum wage, and value your sanity.
Pros
Commission, benefits, full time
Cons
Management, Pay, Culture

Designer/Installer (Former Employee) - Cape May County, NJ - November 21, 2022
What is the best part of working at the company? Signarama is decent with the exception of Cape May Courthouse! What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The owner. The two years I was there half dozen people walked out during interview, the rest quit within a month. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
