SIGSAUER Careers and Employment
He comes home totally stressed every day about the lack of concern when another doesn't do their job.
The leads don't do their job and get $10 an hour more than he does ad I know he has a good work ethic
He's had no advancement in the 7 years he has been there.
Jobs are tough to find..he is 57..........so he stays
I have nothing good to say about working for this company. The management in all aspects of SIG seem to have acquired their jobs through connections only; I can not explain their inept ability to lead effectively in any other way. What, exactly, are their qualifications? It is an environment filled with thirty-fifty something adolescents led by the same.
Watched two new hires come in. First one was smart and switched departments. The second was forced out. We routinely 'pick off' people we don't like. Prison rules. Find your gang and make it work or prepare to get shanked. Not stable.
Upper management talk to you like you're nothing if they talk to you at all. The pay and benefits are very good but the lack of steadiness of business is aggravating. Advancement in the company is extremely rare. The employees that are good get over worked while nothing happens to lazy incompetente ones. No one gets reprimanded even if they are breaking policy and precede.
The management acts like there's nothing better than them. You can not make a single mistake. If you go through ADECCO they will try to trick you into a shift you don't want. I even told them I couldn't do the shift but they still tried hiring me on that shift. Then ask me a couple more times to do the night shift. After saying I can not do it. Do not waste your time like I did. They live off temp employees. No real job. I was never late, never made a bad part, got along with everyone, and kept my area and others clean and I still got an email being let go. Yes an email. They couldn't tell me in person or even call me.
