I had two interviews before I was hired. Both were set up by a temporary agency.

The first: The agency called and mentioned three openings; one in shipping, one as a truck driver, and one in packing. I had an interview with a shipping lead. It was informal. We walked around the shipping area. He asked me about my experience. No specifics, really. It was very casual and when I left, I knew he wouldn't recommend me to be hired.

Second: Huge hiring event set up by the temp agencies. It was at SIG in Newington. I waited in line. Went through a door and was greeted by the production manager and the assistant production manager. They were hiring for multiple positions in assembly, warehouse, shipping, receiving; just about anywhere in the plant except for the machine shop. It took less than five minutes. I was asked three questions only:

Will you work overtime? Are you dependable? Will you get here on time every day?

I was offered a job on the spot.
