There is risk in believing you will be working 16 hours a day from the start, however it is possible. It all depends on how much fish are caught. Depending on your department you will most likely be working 16 hours 2 weeks into the season. To start most departments will work 8-12 hours. It will decline as season progresses until cleanup of plant that lasts 1-2 weeks. Most would get frustrated at lack of hours at times, but be prepared to work 16 hours in peak of season 7 days a week.
