I was assaulted several times by a co- worker. Called names by this person. I was told he didn't like white American people. He didn't even get 3 days off. Apparently their cameras were not on. Unbelievable.
I left due to relocating for personal reasons, and wish I didn't have to leave my job at Simmons. Great people, excellent company vision and growth. Simmons has approx 5k-6k employees, so there will be bad mgmt and hourly folks in a team that large, but I saw both hourly and mgmt reprimanded or terminated for bad behavior or mistreatment of employees. It does not go unchecked nor is that behavior systemic. I saw people who slipped once or twice given chances to redeem themselves and then go on to be promoted later. I'd be back at Simmons if I were able.
I had to leave because of the issue in Puerto Rico with the storm Maria.

Because management sucks for lack of a better word. Constant turnover in maintenance. Just look at all the jobs they have posted on here...
Got attacked by co-worker, although not at fault ( had witnesses via lead). Still got suspended for a week without pay then fired. When applying for new jobs Simmons gave bad reference stating I was hostile. Proven un - true. I was an excellent employee, who moved up very fast. Kind of miss some 9f the people. I worked there for 3 years.
Had issues keeping babysitter.
