When I was applying to Oak Ridge Sitel Consumer Lending they presented me with a list of available schedule times to pick from. There were about a dozen or so different shifts yet every one included 2nd shift and Saturday or a mix of 1st and 2nd shift. They have a shift bid everyone once in a while but don't count on them being fair about it. Favorites and pets get to pick first and everybody else gets the dregs of the schedule.

You can't choose your schedule. That's why during your interview, they will ask you if you're willing to work full time and by shifting schedule. They will give your schedule/shift. Special cases like schedule request due to medical condition is only possible when you got regularized... when you reached years in service.

They set your schedule, based on the client needs. Employees can only choose to work mornings or evenings. Not much flexibility.
