Training is poor at best, Just a job, not a career.
Billing Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Lenexa, KS 66215June 15, 2019
Poorest training I've ever had. Job expectations do not match the very low hourly wage. Everyone works through lunch just to get overtime.

Managers hardly speak to you. I did not feel valued. Worst place I ever worked.

Very easy interview because management doesn't have proper skills on how to interview.

Vacation package bad, and very few paid holidays off.
Pros
No micro-management. Employees are kind but most do not like their job.
Cons
Hard work for low hourly wage, Management needs training on communicating with staff, most don't want to and will avoid speaking and interacting unless absolutely necessary.

Excellent Career Path
Customer Service (Current Employee) –  Hays, KSJune 14, 2019
I have worked for Sizewise within their customer service for several years. It is a high paced call center environment where reps have to be proficient on computer and talking on the phone with customers. At times call volumes can be pretty high making it stressful. But there are also times where call volumes are slow and employees are able to work on other things. Management cares about their employees and want to see each and every individual be successful, achieve their goals, and earn additional incentive $. There are opportunities for advancement and the company displays stability and has continually grown throughout my employment. I would recommend Sizewise to any person seeking an opportunity for a stable and growing career path.

Don't Work in the Call Center
Customer Service Agent (Former Employee) –  Hays, KSMay 30, 2019
Shifts are: 7/8/9am-3/4/5pm, 4pm-1am, 12am-9am

I learned that HR is not to be trusted. I went to them for help and got written up for insubordination.

Management doesn't care about the anti-retaliation policy and also take out their personal anger on you.

No one that has been there less than a year will feel comfortable. The other workers are very catty and constantly talk behind your back about how much they don't like you. The supervisors join in most of the time.

The hardest part of the job is just getting through the day. The work is easy as a call center agent, it's just the people you work with that make it bad.

The callers were the best part of the job.
Pros
Hour lunch, able to do other work between calls
Cons
No bathroom breaks, bad management, supervisors dislike you, HR will NOT help you

Administrative (Current Employee) –  Lenexa, KSMay 13, 2019
The corporate environment at Sizewise is collaborative and hardworking. I have gained many transferable skills working for the company. The managers are excellent and there is opportunity for growth. My coworkers support me and want me to succeed. Occasionally there are communication difficulties between departments, but conflicts are professionally resolved to the mutual benefit of the company.
Pros
culture, productivity, people, fulfillment
Cons
communication, not much else

Manager (Former Employee) –  UnknownApril 12, 2019
No real training provided, lack of accountability, the culture is horrible, unrealistic expectations set for employees, the company does not value their employees, low pay for what they expect, if you have a good work ethic (save yourself).

Only good thing I can say is the company exist (for now).
Pros
a job until something better comes along
Cons
No acccountability, favoritism, good ol boy type company

Med Tech (Former Employee) –  Seattle WAJanuary 15, 2019
Constantly exposed to a number of infectious diseases, coworkers will talk bad about you behind your back. The last supervisor i had would leave work 2-3 hrs early. Your coworkers will think ur incompetent unless you've been their 5 years or longer.
Cons
No lunch break u will work through it then theyll add it to the end of ur shift

Operations Manager (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILNovember 27, 2018
Obvious Sexism/Favoritism from management, Queen Bee/Alpha Male mentality is prevalent from day one, rushed mostly hands-off training schedule means having to learn most of the job on the fly
Pros
Pay is better than most starting out!
Cons
heavy work load without proper delegation unreasonable, very passive management team!

Overall disorganized
Delivery Driver / Med Tech (Former Employee) –  Wallingford, CTOctober 5, 2018
For the amount of work involved to get equipment to patients. The immediate management of center does not pull weight & contribute to fulfill orders going out and many are needed stat for clients. It is very time consuming preparing, loading trucks, & delivering statewide let alone out of state deliveries & returns of equipment.

Management basically does as little as possible on daily basis except criticize employees all the time if your not part of the click.

When hired was told one thing, and as time progressed was another.

Basically its all about the managers & click you are expected to join, & if you don't participate you will be treated differently.

This has been brought to the companys attention, since it ruins the job & most importantly affects the patient.

Solid Place to work.
Operations Manager (Current Employee) –  Baltimore, MDApril 24, 2018
Sizewise is a good company to work for. The work is steady and overtime is welcomed, as long as you are working. There seems to be two main goals, covering customers' orders and observing our compliances properly. It's definitely a team atmosphere there, else the job would be very difficult to complete. This job also puts you in direct contact with the customers. Maintaining good relations with customers is a very important skill you must have there.
Pros
Overtime is good.
Cons
This job is only for people in good physical condition.

WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN (Current Employee) –  West Chester, PAFebruary 27, 2018
The only critique I can think of is there needs to be more of a team concept and everyone should be treated equally as an employee. other than that the pay was competitive and it was a very relaxed environment.
Pros
overtime
