It was really informal and really put me at ease. Mainly competency based questions but also I was asked about me and what I like to do in my spare time, and then I was given a task to grab a men’s, women’s and kids shoe from the shop floor and sell them to the interviewer. Really lovely interview and I didn’t once feel nervous or like I was struggling to answer questions, I felt so relaxed and comfortable!

It takes a few days. You give your application, if they are in need of employees, you'll get a call within the next few days, then after the interview you'll get another call to come in a fill out paper work, takes roughly half an hour to an hour. Finally after 3 or 4 days you are in the stores system and they can start to give you hours

Yeah tattoos are fine as long as they aren’t on your hands face or neck and no swear words on them. Nose piercings are okay I have a septum ring in and it’s fine. (UK store)

Be friendly and do a small amount of research before the interview. Like where the company started and when ect. Working in Skechers you need a lot of product knowledge which you’ll cover in training so they like having people who are open to researching the company.
