Long hours and boredom
Court Monitor (Former Employee) –  Lewis Center, OHApril 20, 2018
With how little available employees there were when I was working there, even when you would request off 2 weeks in advance, it always seemed you were going to get booked for a 8 hour Friday or Saturday shift, or both. If you like working a ton, this is your place. If you like managing kids and adults your age or higher, this is also your job. You control the floor with this job on a court with fairly strict rules. You have to be standing straight up at all times, no phones or any of that, you just stand there and yell at kids, occasionally making conversation with one of the guests of the facility, but even those don't last too long before you are blasted by one of the managers for not working. Lots of times the place is completely or close to being empty. This means you are going to be doing constant cleaning jobs under the courts or in the bathrooms, or will be forced to stand straight up and stare at a wall for hours on end, but hey, at least you are rotating which court you stand at every 30 minutes to an hour. Oh and you are not allowed to ever jump on the trampolines on the clock or throw dodgeballs, so don't think that's what the job is going to be, in fact, over a years time, I got to jump twice off the clock, because they take away any free time you have by working you. Do not recommend.
Pros
Lots of hours
Cons
Hours stack up, very boring, lots of standing around

Cashier (Former Employee) –  Levittown, PAApril 18, 2018
It was a fun place to work at for a part-time job while getting an education, but the salary was not worth the trouble.
Other employees did not take the work seriously enough and was detrimental to the work environment.
Pros
Employee discounts, free jump times
Cons
Rarely was able to take breaks, stressful work environment

Cashier (Current Employee) –  Springfield, NJApril 16, 2018
cool place to work. if you’re over 18 the breaks are only 15mins. Minors get a 30min break. It’s a good first job for teens. They can gain retail and customer service skills while having fun.
Pros
jump for free, chill environment, fun managers
Cons
short breaks, not many hours

Fun place for a first job. As expected it is loud and very busy at times. Management works around your school schedule as needed and time off when requested ahead of time.
Pros
Fun place to work
Cons
loud and chaotic at times

Sky zone is an extremely fun job to have. Although it is a very personal job. Everybody at Sky zone is very close. Being close to your fellow co workers is a good thing for me but also could see how it was hard to separate work life from personal life.
Pros
co workers are like family
Cons
no benefits, personal

Sky Zone is fun at times. It gets a little stressful at times when there is a lot of customers especially the small children. Every worker there is extremely nice and cooperative.

Good job for high schoolers
Court Monitor Team Lead, June (Former Employee) –  Colorado Springs, COMarch 26, 2018
As fun as a job as this was to have, once the school year started the hours were not enough to cover bills and other monthly expenses. Good for students who can work after school though.

Skyzone is a fun place to work at. If you are a 16 year old or older I would recommend this place if you do not live too terribly far away. The managers are wonderful and very flexible with your schedule. The employees are very nice and you would have a great time.
Pros
You get to jump whenever you are off
Cons
You can not jump before you work

Loved The managers
Party Hostess (Former Employee) –  Topeka, KSMarch 25, 2018
I was only scheduled 3 days in the 2 months I was working there, I loved working at SkyZone but was upset of the fact that they over hired just so they could pick and choose how they wanted to keep, without even giving people enough work hours to show what they can offer.
Pros
flexible schedule
Cons
not a lot of hours

Work was extremely easy, but at the same time was not enjoyable. Many employees were great, but the actual job itself was understimulating and frustrating as a result.

Sales Lead/Host (Former Employee) –  Torrance, CAMarch 12, 2018
Guest and their children enjoy it. It can become overwhelming at times as a employee but the good outweighs the bad. Its a great first time job if your are coming out of high school.

Productive work place. sometime stressful when it gets really busy
Maintenance Manager (Current Employee) –  Highland Heights, OHMarch 11, 2018
For me a typical day at work, was doing maintenance. That was either painting the walls, fixing toilets, fixing the trampolines when they broke, changing springs, changing straps, fixing the railings, changing light bulbs, dusting underneath the courts and dusting the nets, fixing tables and fixing holes in the wall.

This is fun first job for high school student, but would recommend leaving after college due to lack of advancements and options, and the management at skyzone will only do so much for you.
Pros
Free admission, and entry
Cons
Management bias, and no real support
