Potential to make good money, but comes with a sacrifice
You can earn a decent living working at Sleep Number. However, the hours are long, you work on holidays and sometimes (most of the times) you’re working alone. From open to close. Goals are really high, but with the right team, you’ll be able to make it.

What is the best part of working at the company?No best part - if you have ever sold mattresses or furniture. Management is young and has no experience other than video training. Too much DEI focus, and not enough focus on sales. Company laid off 500 associates company wide in October. Was ok until laid off with no warning. No explanation on who goes and who stays. Had higher score cards than others who didn’t get laid off. Severance is a joke.

An overall professional environment
The engineers here are all very competent, and have clear visions of what can be accomplished. Management sometimes can get in their own way and push the developers in a direction that causes more headaches for everyone, but it all balances out in the end. The office culture is highly professional, if not a bit stale, but everyone is friendly and supportive.
