There is no future. If more people looked at their insurance statements or called their insurances companies, they would probably realize that Scmri double charges and actually has no idea what they are doing when it comes to insurance and it takes FOREVER to get refunded once you pay.

The way they have ran the business historically I do not see it with deep enough roots for a future.

Lombard and Skokie offices closed - exoerienced techs laid off and new techs with less exowrience and lower pay filled the spots - hours cut for all employees - company has no marketing to local doctors for patients - CEO stated at Christmas party he wanted to sell rhe company. Unstable at best.

I feel good about the future! Smart Choice is getting a lot positive buzz in the industry and has amazing patient approval ratings and making great partnerships that will allow us to grow quickly. There was some personnel changes but that is to be expected with any company as it grows and evolves, teams need to change to make the business more efficient and you have to get rid of the personnel that is dragging the teams down. There were also a lot of promotions because leadership recognized the need for these roles as the company expands.

Doesn’t seem likely this company will be in business too much longer. Contractors in MN refuse to work w SCMRI because of non payment of services.

Word on the street is Smart Choice will be closing Lombard and Skokie locations while also considering closing Bolingbrook location. This after slashing hours of operations in IL.

It’s been recently discovered that the CFO was fired (2nd one in less than 2 years) along the entire sale/business development department (Chief Rev Officer, SVP of BD and regional BD Managers), I’d say the future looks bleak.

Without true leadership and lack of direction, Smart Choice future is in jeopardy. Middle management is over-worked and under appreciated which trickles down to employees and low morale.
